Original Italian Pizza — Restaurant in Bedford

Was looking for a pizzeria to feed some hungry movers. Saw the usual chains, and then saw these folks. Menu looked interesting, so I ordered 5 pizzas while driving down from the house to Bedford. The lady who took my order on the phone was very friendly, and patient with me while I found a spot to park so I could give her my credit card info (since it was a $100 order). I had an errand to run while the pizzas cooked, and when I got to the restaurant, they were ready and waiting for me. Nice big restaurant, too! As for the pizzas, they were delicious. The Steak and the Chicken pizzas were fairly run-of-the-mill, although the crust was really good. The stars of the show, however, were the Margherita and The Meat Delight. Even my wife, who is not a fan of sausage on pizza, really enjoyed it. We also did one of our perennial faves for the last one - pepperoni, ham, and green peppers, and it was fabulous. And they were, of course, fantastic cold the next day. So, yeah, these folks make some awesome pizza. And they're friendly in what we have learned is a pretty normal Virginia style. Highly recommend...

Ate there last week for the first time. I wish it would allow less than one star. Although our waitress was very sweet the food was absolutely disgusting. Not sure the marinara sauce even has tomatoes in it, never tasted anything so gross before in my life. I was sick for 3 days after eating here. The garlic bread was just a cold roll with some sour tasting butter and chunks of garlic smeared on it. I didn't complain, I hate doing that to the servers but she never even asked how it was anyway. Or even notice I didn't eat anything besides my salad and didn't request a to go box. If the food wasn't bad, there were young kids running in and out of the kitchen, I saw the woman prepparing our food eating while she was doing it and another woman walked in and started arguing with people in the back. Having an open kitchen may now be the best...

New to the area from florida noticed this place and said to myself this coukd be a goos go to spot order takeout got home pizza was not Edible call in and ask if they would remake and delivered I was told no they don't deliver I asked them to remake it she finally agreed to and told me to bring in the pizza so they can verify it the girls on the phone was completely disrespectful rude no customer service when I walked in with the pizza they started talking loud there she is make sure you look at the pizza like if I was lying there was so much oregano I was coughing when I took the first bite they definitely lost me as a customer on the first try I understand being busy shortstaffed all of that but not having personal service and being rude is something else i was treated Horribly on top of no apology or just our sorry about that let me...
