Very nice Tractor Supply. Manager (Roger) is accessible and helpful, staff is always quite pleasant and helpful. Short lines and they are VERY responsive to opening up a new register if the line is more than 3 deep.

They are not rated like Lowes but they carry a lot of hardware, sometimes stuff the bigger chains don't have. Really extensive and wholesome pet and farm animal food selection... I know a lot of folks who say this is their go-to store for pet food, collars, beds, crates, tie outs, name it. Better than a lot of dedicated pet stores plus they carry basic harness and tack, all the way up to small farm machinery and cattle grates! Husqvarna chainsaw dealer and repair shop.

And that's not all. Men's and women's work clothes and classy western wear, work boots and cowboy boots, goooood prices on basic work jeans (think $12 and made in the USA), coveralls and overalls and wellies. If you work (as opposed to sitting at a desk) you should check this store and the chain out. Some pretty nice leather goods and not a bad jewelry section if you're dating the right gal.

Parking is free and plentiful and staff will help you load, handicap access and automatic doors. Open 7 days a week (limited hours on Sundays). This is a chain store with a very home town small hardware vibe. And you have to love the smell of leather, horse feed and denim as you walk...

The difference in this store and the one in Roanoke is nothing short of remarkable! We went on a Saturday afternoon and it was packed. Unlike the Roanoke location, every worker here was helpful, cheerful and concerned with customer service. The checkout line was very long and only one cashier who, to his credit, maintained a jovial attitude. He called for help twice before someone was available to assist. I found another extremely helpful associate who informed me and another patron that they were out of both items we were needing. He did, however, find me a reasonable alternate.
