I'm giving a one because of the employees that where in front office they where very unprofessional. First the guy asked me was I residential or not and I was, he asked for proof that I didn't have so I paid 16$ for over 10 people. But the problem comes in when another family comes up he asked the same question (I'm standing right behind to the side of them) they barely knew English and they say yes we stay in Bellaire but the same guy did not asked them for any proof, I go and asked him why and the guy straight up Lied in my face I'm not the only one that saw it and said oh no they showed me their I'd I told him if you going to force the rules on me force them on everyone. They kept watching us the whole time asking if I had paid for kids I mean my son could not enjoy his birthday party. The whole party was a waste of time like we couldn't do anything the one of the girls in the office tells the lifeguard that my sister has to get out the water because she thought she didn't have on a swimsuit which they knew she did they checked everyone at the gate. I know it's a thing call doing your job but that's just un Call For and I still gave them cupcakes that where left. And maybe they where acting that way because they felt some type of way,we didn't give them any reason to feel otherwise. There's more to say but it would be a waste of time because nothing will be done but I hope that the manager that's over all them speak with them on this Matter about...

On our first trip to this pool my sister, who just had a baby, was wearing a sports bra instead of a swimming suit so that she could nurse her baby if need be. We were in the pool 40 minutes when the head lifeguard came over to tell her she would have to leave if she didn't put on a proper swimming suit. She told him she would gladly leave if he gave her a refund on the $60.00 she just paid to get in. He told her he would stamp her hand and she could go "buy a suit at Walmart," then walked off. He was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional, he was treating my sister as if she just tried to strip naked and get in the pool. Ten minuted later he came back with another staff member who then talked over us and told us she was going to call the police if we didn't leave!!! For a sports bra!!! So we called their bluff and told them to go ahead and call the police. They then proceeded to give my sister a refund and we left.
Incredible that the staff is choosing to teach these young employees to kick out groups of people who have paid money to come enjoy a summer afternoon instead of handling it more tactfully and professionally. I was going to get a season pass for my family but there is no way now! I'll go to the West University pool instead.
If you won't allow a nursing mother to wear a sports bra instead of a swimming suit you shouldn't take...
Read moreA blonde, curly-haired, male teenager with black glasses and a "Bellaire Swimming" shirt rudely greeted myself and my swim parter at the front. He did not know about ticket pricing or anything like that. He seemed very confused. He did not even bother checking our resident status. He barely spoke to us. He took our money and we believe he pocketed it due to his haste and confusion; he didn't even know we had to pay at first. We paid the standard price of $15 together, a lot, for swimming. Thirty-seven minutes went by with a female lifeguard on duty, and then the male blonde one switched with her and told me and my swim partner that we had to leave. He said "if y'all aren't gonna swim laps, you need to go, I told you at the front that we weren't open for recreational use". When in fact, he DID NOT give us that disclosure. A different man teaching a swim team there began to yell at me, and the male life guard did nothing. He then stood with the female lifeguard and whispered and look at me and my swim partner. Overall a VERY poor experience. Terribly staffed, staff have bad bedside manner and no care for their customers. 0/5 stars. If -5 stars were an option, I...
