Courthouse Pub by Brother's Pizza — Restaurant in Bellefonte

Ugh, total disappointment! The name was awesome, and I was so excited... until I actually went in and saw the whole shebang: the setup, the menu, and who's running the show. Just another Brothers Pizza, but with a twist. Major letdown. I was imagining a cool, old-fashioned pub, you know, like from the 1900s, with some style, right by the courthouse. A bar, those cool roll-up doors for outdoor seating, booths, and real pub food like fish and chips, bangers and mash, burgers, meat pies, and good beers. But nope, just another massive menu of the same old stuff. Bellefonte, Zion, Mill Hall, Pleasant Gap, Milesburg—they're all swimming in it. It sucks to come back once a year and see the same old choices. It's a bummer that I have to drag my friends and family away from my hometown when I visit for different food options because there's not much to choose from...

We celebrated my husband’s 40th birthday at CHP with 7 people and as usual the food was excellent. Very cute, clean and quaint place located in the heart of Bellefonte just next to the courthouse with fast service to boot! Their accommodations were exceptional and the bartender/server Leigha was wonderful. We will definitely be back again. Two thumbs up! Looking forward to...
