Stay Away, went to this restaurant a few days ago. I ordered a sub, I told them, " I want a double sub Ham and Provolone Cheese ONLY". Now I do not know if the girl taking my order was incompetent or just didn't listen. I didn't pay much attention while they were making it and once it was given to me I proceeded to my vehicle in which I notice a smell of veggies and other things, so I opened it up and saw that I received everything on it. I walked back into the store not more than 2 minutes after having it off the grille and said " I asked for ham and cheese only and this has everything on it". The same girl at the counter gave me a rude look, and then promptly with attitude told me that they can either pick off the unwanted things or I can purchase a new one. I then told her that I am Allergic to onions and I can not eat this. She told me again, with attitude, they can either pick it off, or I can purchase a new one. I asked for a refund on it and I was told they can not do that. Now I am not one to abuse "the customer is always right". I have worked in the fast food industry and I know that if you mess up even one thing, you make it right and make a new one, or if they ask for a refund you give it to them. I left with my sub, and went to the Captain Nemo's in Romulus where they told me that this unacceptable and very kindly I was given some coupons and they also made me the correct Sub. The Attitude, and inability at the belleville restaurant was uncalled for and plain out rude. Read moreI can’t believe how similar our experience was to the many negative reviews posted for this “restaurant “ over the past several months. We have ordered subs here for many years and have noticed a significant decline in quality, content, and most importantly, customer service over the past year. We ordered almost $ 50 worth of subs yesterday the best were average and the worst was terrible and made incorrectly, it was a carry out order we called when we realized that order had been incorrectly made. The “Manager” (term used very loosely) took our call immediately disputed our concern, put us on hold for several minutes while she debated with one of her helpers then hung up on us. I called back she immediately took an aggressive tone blamed us for their mistakes and took the position of how we were the problem. This is the second time she has been very rude regarding a poorly made sub in our last few visits. I was wondering if we really were the problem, our story is so similar to the other poor reviews I have absolutely no doubts..... this place sucks, poorly managed, no customer service, and appears to not really care what it’s customers think . Read moreWent in to pick up 6 subs today 7/22/23. I arrived roughly 10 minutes before close. Not only was I not aware that $100 bills are not accepted even tho the order total came to $86.09! Im from out of town. When I placed the order I asked for a total so I could be prepared BUT the girl said she was the only one working and couldn't. So my father took a guess as to how much it would be and sent me with the $100 bill. Luckily I had enough in smaller bills to complete the transaction. Upon arriving home with the subs we started to notice mistakes. 1. Not one container of oil ON THE SIDE and we should of had 6! I said NO TRIM on my Ruben...they put trim on it and it made my bread soggy! My daughter wanted a ham egg and cheese...NO EGG!?!? When my father called, the girl was extremely rude and refused to give her name when asked. She actually said oh well, if you can't make it here in 2 minutes then there's nothing she can do. Mind you this was just a call about the missing oil...it was minutes later when we started opening up subs that we noticed the other mistakes.
