Baskin-Robbins — Restaurant in Bellevue

Okay. I’m not much of a complainer, but as someone who’s currently in food service management I have to say something.

Environment is the store was just cold when we walked in (nevermind the actual temperature in the store.) Staff is lacking customer service skills, they look young and its food service so wasn’t expecting much, but at least a greeting when customers come in is always nice. No music playing either so you just hear the freezers and other mechanical sounds.

Most important thing is cleanliness. Extremely surprised that management doesn’t require their staff to wear hair nets when they’re hanging vertically halfway into the freezer with their hair less than a foot from the ice cream containers to even get a scoop out. Also watched staff grab a dirty blender, barely rinse it with water - with a faucet, not a spray hose, and then make another milkshake ( different flavors ) immediately with the watery remainders of the last smoothie still in it. Uhhh - FDA standards are wash, rinse, sanitize before using dishes again. Made me feel icky and now wondering how clean the store really is and if standards are being upheld. Maybe it’s just late night tiredness from them or new staff, but I won’t be returning unfortunately.

Ice cream is okay, could get a whole gallon of similar quality for the same price at the grocery store. Came for the experience but would love to see...

I always love the ice cream here. But one night I ordered it on doordash, I paid and I was waiting for my order and I got a message from the dasher saying that apparently the girl gave the order to the wrong person. So I asked for it to be remade I guess the girl that worked there said that it won't be remade until another payment is made. I don't understand, it's their fault that they gave it to the wrong person why should I have to pay again when I didn't get my order in the first place because they gave it to somebody else. walked in to pickup a cake for my partner at the time i scheduled online, wasn’t expecting much in terms of customer service but was still disappointed. if a customer is being more courteous, warm, and polite than the staff there’s an issue. maybe it’s the training, maybe it’s how they were raised, but if you can’t pretend to be kind at work when you’re this young, you should probably find a job that doesn’t require...
