It's creative that they combine Karaoke with BBQ. I have been here last year after Russell Peters' stand-up comedy show. The crawfish was tasty and the BBQ was not bad. We spent 50-60 dollars per person. But I came here recently and was shocked by how terrible it was except the sound quality of its Karaoke devices. As someone who cook often, I can easily tell they cook perfunctorily. The food was not tasty at all and they seemed to only use the precooked seasoning packets. The gluten skewer almost had no taste and was super hard that I couldn't even chew it. What's even worse is that the ingredients was far from being fresh. The lamb skewer tasted sour even with the strong flavored seasoning. (Update after seeing the response of the business owner: I mentioned both the problem of the lamb skewer and the gluten to the waitor during checkout and got the refund for the lamb skewer. So that's good. But still, I would rather receive the food of better quality rather than the refund.) I really wonder if those were made by professional cooks. I only saw restaurants which charged mandatory service fee for a table with more than 5 or 6 people. But to my surprise, we only had 4 people and still got charged without even seeing the notice anywhere. (Update after seeing the response of the business owner: We were in the private room singing for the first hour and finished the food outside after the first hour. Now I understand why the service fee was charged. But I wish there was a notice ahead as I was not quite satisified with the service. I even had to walk outside asking for water multiple times. If I was asked to choose the tip on my own, I might tip differently.) I am so disappointed and don't think I will ever get back or recommend any friend...
Read moreFood was really good! The service and atmosphere were the opposite. Recommend chicken heart, squid, and pork belly. Their food was nice!
Got there and we were given a tablet to order on and some water with no ice. We were told the ordering system was down, so our group scanned the QR code and placed an order of food and some drinks on our phone. Waited about 1 1/2 then someone asked if we have ordered yet, we stated that we placed an order, but haven't received anything. They left and came back with a different tablet and placed the order for us. 30 mins go by and we got our food, some things they forgot to place on the order, but we didn't want to wait longer and it was really hard to get anyone's attention or to be waited on. We asked a few times about our drinks then around almost 12a we received one of them. after we told them that there were 2 more that were ordered we promptly got the other 2. Through out our time there 9pm-12am was spent mostly waiting. There was no apology or discount, I would have been happy with a simple apology and what was going on. The place was not busy.
The atmosphere was not like the photos, very small thin line of tables along a window, chairs very close together, and bright white hospital lighting. There's a note at each table that states "if you give us a 5 star review you will receive a...
Read moreI forsure studied the menu before ordering. I also asked a lot of questions. I paid a nice penny for my order but I also got a large portion. Had plenty to go. We all did.
My food was good. All the food we saw also looked and smelled amazing. Was happy they had so Manu sauces to try. A few of the sauces I've never even had. It was loud and hectic in the main room. Dark and all the above in our room. Be smart about what you order.
Overall this place isn't exactly perfect in any category. Maybe a 4 across the board. But something about it is true in nature which makes this a 5. It's exactly as expected based on the prices and especially the amount of people inside. So busy I had to get up to glass for things even though they cane through our room like busy bees.
And about the karaoke rooms, fun, but the machine was not easy to use. I couldn't find anything I wanted so I just didn't take a turn. A few of us delt with that. There was enough of us that were able to perform long enough to distract us. I can forsure see that being a deal breaker for some.
Parking is interesting. Many rows of cars. We had to walk about 50+ yards since we got parking in the back corner. That was probably the worst part of the experience since it was freezing outside. Wasn't that bad of a walk and not...
