First time here. Got take out of the classic Chicken Teriyaki + Katsu combo and a side of gyoza. Everything was excellent. Portions were very generous, chicken was smokey, sweet, and juicy. Katsu was crispy and juicy. The katsu sauce had congealed a little but that's probably because I got takeout, but the flavor of it was still very good - not like your usual katsu sauce. Maybe it was a spin on their teriyaki sauce? It tasted different than what was on the chicken. Gyoza were good too, fried and crispy on the outside with decent amount of filling. The gyoza sauce was black-vinegar and soy (I think), which was more vinegar forward. Flavor of the sauce was very good, but it was a bit thin so you couldn't get much on the gyoza when dipping it. Side salad was iceberg and very fresh (crisp, zero old/wilted pieces), and the dressing was an interesting sweet mayo type dressing which I enjoyed. Food was ready and fresh in the quoted 10 minutes.
Atmosphere seemed chill like a standard fast food place (tables looked clean, etc). I did find it funny that there were multiple signs in all directions for addon prices listing the surcharges for things like extra sauce or making it spicy, seemed like one sign would have been enough. The menu was surprisingly large (I missed a bunch of items that were listed at the bottom in smaller text), so take your time reading through it if...
Read moreI don’t usually write reviews, as you can probably tell from my non-review status, but this Jumbo Chicken Teriyaki Box has completely changed the game for me. As someone who travels frequently for work and eats on the go, I was not only surprised but genuinely in awe of the simple yet incredible meal that was delivered to my less-than-glamorous hotel room in Seatle.
When I say "simple," I don’t mean it in a negative way—rather, it was simply perfect. The chicken, the salad—everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. I was so impressed that I feel compelled to tell others: Order from here now, and often!
It’s been two weeks since I left Seattle, and I’ve thought about this meal at least 35 times since returning home. This place is a hidden gem, and I can’t wait to get back to the West Coast so I can dine here again. For what it’s worth, I ordered from them both nights of my stay in Seattle....
Read moreI used to love this place. A few months back we had a work to go order issue with I Love Teriyaki, even though the lady was rude, I decided to give them another shot. My mistake. Now I get raising prices due to pandemic, cost of groceries rising or even shortages on supplies. Chicken breast teriyaki went from $11.99 to $14.99. Ok fine, but when I go to pay I see the cash register price is $18 and some change, I have to ask...the gentleman said taxes & you wanted spice (2 star) that's $2.00. WHAT IN THE WORLD?! I said forget the spice I have spice at home. No where does it say "We charge for spice", nor did he mention that prior to charging me. I just happen to catch it! I will never spend money at an establishment that tries to price gouge their customers. Pay attention to the price when ordering 1-5 stars at this place. They've lost me as a customer and I have a feeling I'm...
