Just Poke Factoria Mall — Restaurant in Bellevue

I’ll give two stars because for the most part the employees are nice. Management is terrible, they rotate through employees faster than a merry go round throws off small children. With each new batch of employees the portions get smaller. Today’s large looked smaller than the regular looked a year ago. I year ago I would be satisfied with the regular sized bowl, and today it was kind of pathetic to see what a large was supposed to be. I am pretty sure one time the manager or owner was present to take my order, most likely was short staffed that day. I always make slight modifications to one of their prefabricated menu bowls, because I like the base of it. When I wanted to add things to it, he got slightly snarky about how it no longer was what I ordered. I explained I did this every time and none of the other individuals ever complained to the customer about the order that was being made. After that experience with this person I realized why this establishment has such a rotating door of employees. Such a shame because 98% of the employees have always been so nice, so I doubt the turnover has anything to do with the hired hourly worker serving the customer. The portions decreasing so dramatically over the past year is not the person serving you either. I have never been to a different location to compare to Factoria. It's not my first visit, had some good experiences before, but had a bad one this time. Visited tonight, just upset about the cashier. First, she said she cannot sell us karrage chicken as extra protein, I felt weird since I visited before and other cashiers were always happy to add extra protein for my bowl. It's OK if she gave us a good reason but she just said "if you want karaage chicken, you should order a bowl". OK, I didn't ask again. And then, since we bought some cans of soda, asked her for straws. "We don't have straws". OK. Finally, the big one came. Your website shows that the restaurant of Factoria Mall allows dine in till 8:00pm, but that cashier went to our table and told us "Just let you know we are closing", at 7:20! While we were still sitting there and eating! I said your website shows you should close at 8:00. She just turning away quickly, did not even respond to me. Telling customers she is closing means we should go, we can accept a good reason if you need to close earlier, or your store hours changed recently, but just went away with nothing to say? Just Poke is located near Target inside the Factoria mall. I have been to this location many times. It is one of the healthier fast cause restaurants in the area.

process: kind of like a subway/Chipotle, you build your own bowl. I personally like to buy poke by the lb. You choose a size then the base ( rice/ salad) and types of fish then sauce and topping. They also have a seasonal protein so it could be shrimp or scallop. Generally this place is pretty fast unless the person in front of you has a problem making deciding .

They have a electronic point system that accrues slowly. I think the lowest tier item is a miso soup for 50 points?

I think all fish are flash frozen so while not caught from Pacific ocean and serve the same day, the fish is good quality. The tuna is not mushy. There is also no strong fishy taste . The salmon here is decent. For tuna, I usually get the spicy ahi and Hawaiian ahi tuna.
