Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Bellevue

I feel bad writing this but I hope it is helpful to Starbucks. Maybe it could be a training opportunity in customer service and efficiency.

I had a client meeting at 10:30 am today. We got in line and were the first in line. They were not busy AT ALL. There had been two other men in line and they were already waiting for their drinks. We waited and waited and waited. Finally, I said something nicely to the older women and she barked back that she was making two other drinks. Those two men had to have been waiting for their drinks for over 5 minutes. Why does it take so long to make two drinks? There was someone else in the back doing something. No one greeted us either. Finally, after about 7 minutes of waiting in line we went to Panera. Everyone has bad days but my client works around the area and says this is a pattern. Bad for business. I will not be going back. I like this Starbucks very much, the staff are friendly and can usually tell when I'm down for small talk and when I'm not which is so important before the coffee haha. I have just purchased a coffee and while i was looking at their straws, the barista refused to give me one because i didnt order a Frappuccino. . ..i understand she is following most likely orders, but that was not very customer oriented, it was rude and the explanation i got MADE ZERO SENSE. For someone that drinks coffee everyday this will definitely be my last...
