Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken — Restaurant in Bellevue

Mon. Dec. 10th Had a coupon for a 3 piece meal up to 4 meals. Ordered 3 piece crispy breast thigh and leg with 2 sides , received breast and 2 wings , but did get the sides. Also ordered a Monday 3 piece strip meal and a 3 piece original chicken which was accurate.

However ordered a small chicken liver , and a large chicken gizzards but both of these sides were old and dry. So I contacted management , but I didn't have the opportunity to return that evening , so the manager informed me that nothing could be done about the bad food. I don't understand why they could not credit me for the mistakes , but buyer beware and double check for freshness at this lees. And not a good business...

I'm big on quality. Everyone is always friendly and the food is typically fresh and tastes good. Today, after many a lunch trip to this very location and they charge for sauce now? 16 cents for a sauce. A meal over $12 with 4 pieces of chicken is charges more for buffalo sauce because 'the sauce is for strips'.

This is off-putting for me. Then the cashier attempted to keep my change, from a 16 cent purchase, paid with a quarter. she says thanks and walks away... She may be new. Maybe they charge for sauce now. There should be a sign at the menu, which I didn't see or look...

Always fresh, always friendly! I’ve been coming to the Lee’s Famous Recipe in Bellevue for a while now and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh, hot, and always made right. You can taste the difference every time. The two managers (pictured in my visit) are absolutely awesome... friendly, professional, and clearly take pride in running a great store. The service is fast, the place is clean, and the team works hard to make your visit a good one. If you're craving fried chicken done right, Lee's in Bellevue...
