Someone at work sent me a photo of their meal and I knew I had to try this place myself. I love their chicken katsu. Most places aren’t breaded well or get soggy. I typically don’t order it for that reason. They understand that katsu is supposed to be crunchy and they make sure it stays crunchy until you can sit down and eat it. I’m not a huge fan of katsu sauce but pairing it with their garlic sauce is so good. I have yet to try their spicy chicken, but I can’t eat spicy food like I used to. First time visit to Teriyaki Express on 130th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA. I always thought this small restaurant tucked back in a very small shopping area...was just a take out...but no...you can sit inside. Food was very good and lots of it on your plate. No man, woman or child would leave still hungry. Everything was fresh including the salad. (I could not finish all of the food) Nice people. My complements to the Chef.
