Spoke with Rocky about turning our 4th generation family home into a "smart house". He said it would be $150.00 for a consultation but that would be applied to the final invoice. I was a little taken back by that so he said if I lived within a 30 mile radius of Bellevue it would be a free but that is a long drive. At that point I said that I was going to see how the consultations I had already arranged with other companies (ironically also from the same distance away and not charging a consultation fee) panned out and that I may still give him a call. As I live overseas and I'm not from the area, I wasn't sure exactly how far Maple Valley was from Bellevue so I googled it after we hung up. 23.1 miles. So I called him back and of course it went to voicemail. I left a message and nothing. Strange way to conduct business. Lie to a potential customer then disregard them. There are a lot of options out there so one would think a potential customer would matter, but apparently not. Luckily I settled with a great company that values customers and has integrity. Caveat Emptor

Read moreWe have utilized the C4 system for over 20 years. The company that originally installed the system and supported it for two decades opted to get out of the C4 business. Fortunately one of the folks we had a relationship with, when queried, said we could get C4 expertise from Beyond HiFi. We contacted them. They have been servicing our system for a couple of years now and we couldn't be happier. We recently had a Marantz receiver die on us. Luke came out, confirmed that the receiver was indeed toast and further checked out our system. We discussed options, he said Isaiah would get in touch with a quote that included essential and optional equipment and services. I should note that this was all done in a very timely manner. We made our choices, paid 50% of the quote and Luke returned on the next work day. He spent four hours replacing, removing, installing updating, verifying and then gave us a walkthrough on our updated system. Luke was friendly, interactive, professional and got on with the job at hand doing so in a methodical manner. I was looking for a company that would work with me to pull it together and build a rock-solid control solution to allow my family to get full enjoyment out of the great gear I own.
I approached a few vendors and they were not comfortable taking on my project due to the complexity. EXCEPT for Beyond Hi-Fi that was excited to take on the challenge. Both Rocky who managed my project and Jeff who handled the programming & installation made this seamless.
