I went into Eastside saw to get a diagnosis on my Bosch tool because they are a Bosch dealer. They charged me a $20 diagnosis fee. After a couple weeks, Michael called me stating he has repaired my tool and wanted "X" amount of dollars for the repair. I asked him why he never called me to get an approval and he simply stated it wasn't there policy to do so. I was never explained this prior to dropping the tool off, he gave me two options: Pick up the tool and pay the full amount (a price that I never agreed to). Pick up a disassembled broken tool.

I told him I'd pick the disassembled broken tool up. I went in three days later and the manager stated it wasn't ready for pick up and to come back in 1 week.

1 week later: I come back and they said the part isn't ready and that they sent it away to get disassembled and to come back in 3 weeks or until I receive a call back. Michael and his team are not honest and lack communication skills. I am extremely disappointed with their service. I hope they explain to future customers that they don't simply do diagnosis and that they'll repair it without prior approval and expect...

Been coming here for almost 20 years.Decided to close my big shop and reset in my large garage space. Began with a 60 gallon compressor and hard lines. Then 18 ga 8" ducting and two stage dust collection. Added a 15" planer, 3 hp shaper, 20" bandsaw, 8" jointer, drill press, stand mortiser, edge sander, edge bander, filtration system (and 2 counter top filtration units) and a Sawstop industrial saw with router table etc. BUT NOT FROM HERE. I'll NEVER set foot in this store again.Treat you like you are a half wit that they are just barely tolerating. Amazing. Guess they don't need my money. I told other GC's about my experience and wasn't believed. Brought them in with me on more than a few occasions and they couldn't believe it. So I went elsewhere. They have a great selection of higher end tools, and their prices are comparable to Amazon for the most part.
