Glow Day SPA — Local services in Bellevue

Went in for a 3 hour service with my friend for massage, small bubble facial, and headspa. It was hard to relax for half of it because my masseuse kept leaving the room for minutes at a time without communicating why. It seems that they didn’t have enough staff and maybe she was checking people in/out for services? I know some of it was to get supplies/set up. The staff also talked to each other and laughed a few times throughout— others would come in and talk through the doorway. They are also very heavy-handed when it comes to handling equipment/hot stones, etc and make a lot of noise. It was all very distracting and the constant leaving cut into the service time.

Massage- these ladies are STRONG. Great for people who like deep tissue massages but the regular oil they use feels cheap and does not glide as smooth as it should. Maybe upgrade to CBD oil for better experience. I did not expect the hot stones so that was nice!

Facial- very relaxing other than portion where they put a machine over your face— there was no communication/warning so to have a loud BEEP in your ear & bright light hit your face was startling.

Head spa- also very relaxing but there is a portion again with a loud machine that steams your hair. It gets very hot even on “medium” setting and they leave the room during this portion so i couldn’t communicate that it was getting too much.

We still felt very good after the spa and tipped 15% because we know how hard it is to work for 3 hours. But I would appreciate less talking/laughing/randomly leaving the room. It is not a 5 star service yet but I appreciate...

Overall a great experience and would 1000% recommend as a gift or girls day. My mom and I got the signature head spa treatment and I got some gel acrylics. The head spa is a 10/10 unique and luxurious experience. I like that the room is private or can be privately shared with your party. Other places I’ve seen have cubbies and I specifically chose those location because there is a separate room specifically for the head spa, not just curtain dividers. It was very relaxing, soothing, and something I would definitely do again. The reason for the 4 stars is I was a bit disappointed with my acrylics. I got acrylics on three of my nails because they were short. I’ve been getting acrylic full sets since I was 16 and am now 22. one of my nails is very overfilled; they're thick, and a little wonky around the edges. It just felt a bit rushed unfortunately. Otherwise the color is gorgeous and had a fun experience, I would definitely come back for the head spa specifically and I live 2 hours away.

Edited: the owner reached out and apologized for the dissatisfaction with my nails and offered to come back in to get them fixed with a different tech. I recently visited Glow Day Spa in Bellevue and it was absolutely amazing! The moment I stepped in, I felt instantly relaxed. The spa has such a calming atmosphere, and everything is so clean and brand new.

The staff at Glow Day Spa were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Jade was wonderful! She made sure I was comfortable throughout my visit and provided exceptional service. The treatments were relaxing and left me feeling rejuvenated.

The products at Glow Day Spa were also fantastic. They were of high quality and left my skin feeling nourished and revitalized after my facial. It was evident that they take great care in selecting the best products for their clients.

One thing I really appreciated was how clean the spa was. It was spotless and well-organized, which added to the overall sense of tranquility. I felt completely at ease knowing that the spa took cleanliness seriously.
