The good: Coffee was very nice Crepes are large Staff is friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seems to love being there
Points of improvement: $16 is way way way too expensive for any crepe. I see the rebuttals being made in comments on the other reviews and I appreciate that you're using high quality, locally sourced ingredients but $16 for a crepe is wild. I'm a huge fan of Geppetto Cafe in Lawrenceville, to the point where I sometimes will Doordash it. Fees and all, Geppetto is still less expensive and so much tastier. Honestly I would suggest making the crepes half as big and half as expensive. I don't know that $16 crepes in Bellevue is the move. I had the chicken pesto crepe, which was literally just chicken, pesto, and huge chunks of mozz cheese. The pesto was clean-your-sinuses level overpowering and the whole thing was begging for some cooked onions or something to break it up. I was hungry and ate it but if I'm being honest, I didn't really enjoy it. Entirely too much pesto and nothing else really going on. I also tried the berries n' cream crepe. This was better but still felt ham-fisted to me. Crepes should be light and delicate. This was thick and heavy. Berries were fresh, the cream was sweet, but it was just...heavy.
All in all, I might stop in for a coffee but I can't recommend a crepe. I'd like to try a breakfast sandwich but they are similarly priced to the crepes and I just can't justify it. I understand the business is new (to Bellevue, not in general as they've been in Harmony forever) so hopefully they will be able to work out the kinks in pricing and quality as time goes on. I love to see new businesses in Bellevue and was excited for them to open, but unfortunately I did not leave inspired to return. Please take this as constructive criticism as I absolutely want the business to thrive. Just understand that most people are going to have the same first experience I did, not come back again, but also not leave a review. It is better to be aware than...
Read moreI think Bellevue was founded in 1865 and ever since then Bellevue has been waiting for just this kind of place! I’ve lived in nearby Brighton Heights essentially all of my life and have been going to Bellevue to eat at various places for years-so I KNOW of what I speak! I visited Sunday afternoon at 1 and came hungry! I ordered the avacado toast-expecting just a modest smear of avacado on a piece of bread. What appeared was a beautiful feast for the eyes-sunny side up egg on a bed or greens all on a beautifully toasted piece of “ Bread Works” sour dough bread and wonderfully prepared avacado spread-superb! Next I had a bowl of butternut squash 20 degrees outside so it was most welcome! Thick, served piping hot-“sticks to your ribs” is the grandma phrase that comes to mind!! Delicious!! “Appropriately priced” not cheap nor even remotely pricey-if you want cheap Dari Villa further down Lincoln Ave will be happy to have you with the other retirees. Plenty of seating-Miss Amber the owner is ever present and marvelous! Northsiders and ALL North Boros people get your butts NOW to place and take it all in!! No more going to the strip or heaven forbid McKnight mare road for a good breakfast!! This place is DESERVING of your business!!!

Read moreWe were excited to try this place as Bellevue desperately needs a quick breakfast / sandwich shop. We ordered the berries and Nutella crepe and a chicken wrap to go.
What we liked: Walkable (for us), local place, comfy small shop Great staff Quick service
What we didn’t like: The food items are 25% overpriced compared to any other place. The crepe was honestly bland, berries were good but it wasn't enjoyable overall Unfortunately the chicken wrap was bland and dry as well (should of tried the grilled cheese)
It looks like others have brought up the prices, I agree. Most customers don’t really care about nor will pay 25% more for “locally sourced ingredients” if the food isn’t spectacular. We care about value for our money. Maybe they know better and stuff is selling. But I can’t justify it. I hope this place improves as it’s right...
