Teriyaki J's Bellflower — Restaurant in Bellflower

I was next store in the plaza, I saw this joint next door and the food on banners and storefront made me want to go in to check it out. They have a very unique array of food items and more items that aren’t on the menu. They also have burritos and seafood. I was going to walk away when I saw the prices but was hungry and needed to drive to SD so figured I’d just buy a chicken sandwich. I ordered the #20 chicken teriyaki burger ($8.99) and decided to add the “J’s Twist - cheese, bacon, avocado and pineapple ($4.60). The sandwich was huge and heavy. The actual sandwich was phenomenal, the best teriyaki sandwich I have tried so far, and I’m a foodie. The sandwich was definitely worth every dollar, cannot be more satisfied and full. Staff was great and so was the cook. If you’re a teriyaki person and near by you gotta try it out, don’t sleep on this place. Wow 🤤

Establishment is very clean both guys working are very polite

Reasons for my 2 stars are: •ordered chicken and steak plate got only chicken (and I paid more for this) •change salad to steam veggies wasn’t an add on it was to have it instead of ( charged me $2 more) •1/4 of the plate was empty just had the sauce in there •charged me a convenience fee 3.5% to pay w card •portion was small for a (“plate”)

Overall overpriced, portions are regular size, double checking the order before packing it would be nice and also mentioning for what your charging extra for goes a long way (maybe next customer) Don’t intend on returning Paid $29 for a plate and 4 egg rolls that’s very pricy You look at the picture on yelp...

This is gonna be my go to teriyaki chicken joint from now on! The chicken is well marinated with that teriyaki sauce. And their portions are well worth the price. They have the classic combination platters. I got the chicken and shrimp with veggies on the side. I recommend you try their J’s chicken teriyaki burger. And that Downey burger is typically not my kind of thing but I was surprised that it was savory and crunchy. Those loaded Superfries are a must. The bulgogi paired with chicken teriyaki on fries is next level. Don’t forget to try their teriyaki wings as well. It is all good at...
