i never write reviews but i gotta log on here to celebrate my main man andrew, the bike guy at cafe velo. for some reason we bought this stupid dutch cargo bike on craigslist with no real plan for how we would maintain it, and when it started to break down we had trouble finding someone in town who could actually work on it. fortunately we were directed to cafe velo and andrew, who seems to know as much about bikes as anyone could. he gave it a first-rate tuneup and and been kind enough to let me drop by on a couple different occasions to show me how to better tweak the bike to my liking. a very kind and knowledgable man. i can't recommend cafe velo enough for all of your bike...

Unfortunately, no vegan cookies or treats and no plans to add any. The owners are just lovely people and friendly as well as interesting and fun to chat with. I didn't think it would be an issue because there were a bunch of empty tables around us, but one of the owners unkindly asked us to leave without apology, just pointing to the sign we hadn't seen. I understand that they probably get a lot of people sitting there with outside food, but it wouldn't take much for him to explain the situation in a kinder more respectful way.
