Bellingham WA: 👹👨💻🖲️ My wife & I come down on the weekends (we're from Canada 🇨🇦 Eh') to finish building our condo, we always get DQ entering and leaving Bellingham, the food is superb 👍..... Unfortunately THAT'S where the compliments end. We received another cars "driver thru" order by mistake (which is understandable as they were backed up 🔢) Not the end of the world right? Lol. We noticed the mistake once we got over the border. This past weekend when we were back in town at DQ, I mentioned the mixup to store manager from our last visit, even had the receipt in my hand. The manager to care less about the receipt, not even a glance at it. Best immediately decided I was done talking as she abruptly informed me she was sorry about the mistake when it happened, there is nothing she could do. She went on to say store policy has been that way for years in fact. When I asked her, lemme get this straight. Dairy Queens store policy requires you NOT to make a customer whole again, or offer any type of solution when "fault" was 100% that of DQ? When I said I wasn't going to get anywhere as she was misunderstanding the scope of my confusion I said that's okay, I don't need my mail replaced since you've mentioned several times it's store policy 😕 I would like to get my money back since I paid for a meal I never received and instead was forced to eat somebody else's meal who also has probably the same delimea I'm having right NOW with that manager. So my original meal was not corrected, I she refuse to offer a refund as well. I asked for her name and position as I was leaving she said that she doesn't work at the store she is from another location.
So wait a minute?! What just...
Read moreFirst I have to say... I was SO MAD at Dairy Queen. I had received such BAD service in Mount Vernon, WA. But, yesterday they were vindicated =) I went shopping in Bellingham, WA and wanted to see if they had a Turtle Pecan Cluster Blizzard. I pulled up to the Cordata Parkway location and waited in line. The drivethru was nicely kept, clean, and bright. As with the Mount Vernon location they have a sign up saying there is a national shortage of product (I have heard of no such national shortage but....) I expected the same rude service and the what, huh, i didn't hear that, I have been receiving in the Mount Vernon, WA location WHEN...... Hello my name is Rachelle, welcome to Dairy Queen may I take your order???? The voice was pleasant and professional.... HOORRAAYYY. This is the first time in so many years that I have heard a voice like this anywhere!!!!! This is how an employee of any company should greet their customers!!! Rachelle took my order, gave me my total... and I pulled up. I had to ask for her because there were other employee's that probably shouldn't have been there (lol long story). I told her I do google map reviews, how wonderful she was and if I could take her picture. This is Rachelle, if you are ever up in Bellingham, say hello to her, she is a SHINING example of the perfect employee! She did the so thick you can turn it upside down, gave me my blizzard (WHICH WAS DELICIOUS), and I left. Rachelle helped make my terrible day a little better.....
Read moreThe food and ice cream was good. No issues there. However, I got into an argument with an employee there because we were charged more than we should have been. We got the 6 buck lunch, and paid a dollar to upgrade to a blizzard. The menu said it was one dollar to upgrade to a small blizzard. They brought us out a snack size one. When we asked about it, the employee was very snappy and rude, saying if we wanted a small we needed to ask for a small, otherwise we get a snack size. We told her we paid the extra dollar for it and she repeated what she said, told us the snack size is 50 cents extra so we need to specifically ask for a small for a dollar. Well, we had paid a dollar, it clearly shows this on the receipt, so when I chased her down to show her this she said it was because of tax. It wasn't, tax is taken into account at the bottom of the receipt. She just had zero idea what she was talking about and was incredibly rude while spewing her nonsense. Luckily the Manger she called over knew what she was talking about and cleared things up for us, explaining that we do need to ask for the small blizzard upgrade specifically because both sizes cost the same (which is a bit odd, they should just automatically give us the larger size if both cost the same) and was very nice and calm about it. Luckily this isn't the DQ nearest us so I doubt I'll have to deal with that particular...
