Ghosting and gaslighting galore. Only one staff member, the non white and non blonde staff member, was helpful. The person who took my order was rude. Never made eye contact or gave any sort of greeting, and then skittered away as soon as her job was done I couldn't even ask her for the bathroom code. I stood there a moment longer trying to be polite to see if anyone would notice. No one did. I had to shout over the coffee machines to ask, and the person who answered made it seem as though I was rude for interrupting her work to ask for the code. She was maybe 2 feet away from me and never made eye contact until I asked. Then as my drink came up, my name was called, again with no eye contact, no nice way if stating the name, just a bland name call and a walk away. I don't know if I came right after a rush, or what. But it wasn't busy enough for this kind of behavior. Read moreI love going to woods coffee, and have been going there for a long time. It's absolutely one of my favorite coffee shops in Washington, but I just had a not so nice experience.
The staff had some trouble some with the computer and it was taking a bit of time. I really didn't mind waiting, and I waited patiently.
At 3:06pm a short blond hair girl worker handed me my woods card rather rudely, and told me the drinks are free, which was not necessary at all.
I was very puzzled. she was talking quickly and mumbling, so I couldn't catch what she was saying, or why.
I wanted to ask her but she became very grampy even though I didn't say or do anything wrong....
I asked my husband to go ask if they put the $10 on my card that I gave to them, turned out there was $0 balance........making my $9 order actually cost $19; not free as she said.
She apologized to my husband but not me, even though when she gave me drink I thanked her. She gave me a dirty look and angry looking face....

Read moreI was only getting a cup of coffee, and yet the service was extremely slow when it comes to in store via counter order. Perhaps its because I’m asian and been despised due to my ethnicity. Customers waiting in line before me have been serviced less than a min or two because they are non Asian. Nobody greeted me, acknowledged my existence and nobody explained to me at all. I was left waiting for more than 5 min, so I left. I feel I have been completely ignored, and been neglected, hanging dry.l because of my ethnicity. Not cool at all.
