At 7:45 pm on September 19, I had just left a school meeting and decided to pick up some Papa Murphy's at the Bellingham Lakeway store as I had to work a midnight shift that night and thought that would be an easy dinner option. I drove up to the window, and said I'd like to order. The man at the window said it had to be their "family deal" or some chicken thing, both of which have meat. We do not eat meat on our pizza, save for the occasional pepperoni. I asked if I could get something else, bearing in mind that there was not one person in the store or in the drivethru. He told me NO. He did not offer to start anything for me and have me park & come in, he didn't say, oh, okay this one time is okay, he simply said, NO, then CLOSED THE WINDOW ON ME. No customers in store at all and still during hours of operation.
I wonder if the store owner knows that his employees are turning away business. I will be actively searching for the store owner's name & number to advise him of this. I will not be returning to this store, and will, in fact, be telling this experience to everyone I come across.

After standing there for 20 minutes (a mistake) I asked if it was almost ready and was told it would be at least another 20 minutes so I unassigned and left. Guys, if you have a delivery driver there to pick up an order and you know it's gonna be a long time before it's ready please don't let them stand there and waste their time. Communicate that information to them. Had I known it would be that long from the get go I would've just left right away. Very frustrating. Please do better in the future. I understand being slammed with orders and getting backed up but you need to communicate that better to people, especially delivery drivers. All that negativity aside the staff seemed to be doing the best they could to get everyone's stuff made and they managed to keep a good attitude with everyone and stay friendly...
Read moreI've been a customer for 10 years. Many people worked here, but I do not remember any occasion to be unsatisfied by their work or attitude. Always respectful, smiley, friendly. Of course happened minor mistakes like a wrong sauce, but fixed momentarily. One time needed to wait 20 minutes longer but I saw those orders occupying entire desk. They do their best to make all customers satisfied. Drive through could be a little better, sometimes a delay about a couple minutes before asking. Delivery - no complains. In the waiting area inside a little weird feeling due to architectural decisions, like too tight and hard to hear and see if your order is ready.
