The Bearded Buffalo Sports Bar — Restaurant in Belmont

As a bar owner Myself, in Charlotte, and I should not have to say this, I literally went into the Bearded Buffalo in Belmont, North Carolina bar and was advised that a bartender said that I told her that I was light headed, ready to “pass out” and needed ice for absolutely no reason and the “owner” “CHAD” approached me and I told me that I had to leave. He literally came to me and said that he was told by one of his workers that I needed ice, and I was lightheaded and hot and whatever and i had to leave the establishment, I’ve never been through this before, and this is the worst experience that I’ve ever had in my life if I could give it a zero, I will confirm that he is nasty, rude, disrespectful, very smart mouthed and he’s a liar and very discriminatory. Even if I had to have needed ice and was hot and had an issue, why would they not have cared or rendered any kind of emergency services???? This is not the first time I’ve heard bad things about that bar. I hate to say it, but he does not like Black people up in there. This is not the first time I’ve ever heard it and I guarantee you it will not be the last. He literally never met me before tonight and he told me that I was barred from his bar. I will be taking actions against him because of his demeaning persona and I also have him on Video. I’ve never asked them for anything not even ice or whatever He’s talking about. As a bar owner to another bar owner, you Sound crazy. He is discriminate and racist, I don’t know what else to say about it. but I do remember that it was the same Girl that was mad that I didn’t give a Tip to because her service was horrid with me and my fiancé the week before while we were watching the game outside. She was barely seen and very unattended. I have zero tolerance for this and I will be contacting my attorneys, I feel like this was discriminatory and racist, and I I want them to pull the camera from the moment I came in . Arrived and was greeted by staff immediately. Advised we could seat ourselves and someone would be with us. We asked to see a menu, and they brought one right over. We decided to give them a shot as the menu looked great. Sat down, and Brittany came straight over and introduced herself. Brittany got our drink orders and went over the menu. Brittany also addressed the special for the night. Drinks came out, never got below half full the entire meal. Appetizers were out quickly, and they were hot. Mozzarella sticks and onion rings were great. Meals came out and were timed perfectly. My mother-in-law had the Guinness Battered fish and chips. Perfect ratio of batter to fish. Also, my mother-in-law loved the pasta salad. I had the wings. Split flavor between hot and Chipotle. The wings reminded me of the ones I would get up north. They were overcooked. But they were still good. My partner got the Hangover Burger and sweet potato fries. Absolutely no complaints. Also, a great touch was the honey with the sweet potato fries. Brittany checked in at perfectly timed intervals throughout the meal service. At the end of the meal, boxes were brought out, and the table was promptly cleared. Brittany asked about to go drinks, which we did want. Drinks were brought out along with the bill. Bill was settled, and Brittany took 2 minutes to thank us and briefly chat. All in all, for bar food and quick bites, you can't go wrong here. I would definitely recommend this restaurant/ bar...

"WARNING-"CHECK PADDING" HERE"!! I live in Gastonia but visit family in Charlotte every Friday. A friend called and wanted to meet me in Belmont on my way in. Told her I was hungry and we settled here. Walked in, got a draft special at the bar, and was pleased...nice mug and size. Found a table and soon a waitress appeared and I asked for menu...my friend wasn't hungry so I just ordered the special foot long hotdog. Was asked, "which side". Didn't care, looked down and saw 'BB Chips, so I said the BBQ chips. She explained that they were fried sliced potatoes. My friend said to get the onion rings. Told the waitress to get whichever side she wanted cause I didn't want a side. So she asked my friend about a sauce...named two..she choose one. Then the waitress said there was also ranch. My friend changed her choice to ranch. Food comes and I have both sides???? My friend has both sauces?? We order another round of drinks. Then the check. Realized she has charged us for a plate of potatoes no one wanted at ..$5.95 I think and .75 cents for additional sauce???? My friend said her dog might eat potatoes, so we got a tray for them. Took the .75 out of tip. $19.00 bill for hotdogs and 2 draft specials. We got another round, but went to the bar ourselves and left. Kinda hate place is like this. Looked like a nice spot to stop in on...the hotdog was good and the menu looked great. Would have been nice place to stop, but not with the check...
