I'll start with the food. It's good. I generally have no complaints about the quality of the food made. The portioning they use varies on a day to day and hour to hour basis. So my biggest gripe is definitely when you absolutely don't get what you paid for either from using far too much rice to pad anything they may be low in supply on, or when they simply give you less on every portion. When you get less you really notice it. Things like double wrapping will be skipped to cut corners as much as possible ESPECIALLY during high demand hours.
Arguably the best and worst service I get is from here. Half the orders I set are great and go off without a hitch; the other half I've had to deal with orders being either way too small and light with very little food given compared to normal orders, I'll get the completely wrong order that may be someone else's, or minor things wrong that's not really worth going back to get fixed... The workers are good at quickly trying to fix any issues I have. I especially appreciate the ones who have remade my orders with little to no questions asked. The problem with this location has always been the management both directly and indirectly. The only times I've had issues with getting orders fixed, getting my food on time and not extremely late, and actually having someone to talk to that will listen to my problem has always fallen on the onsite middle management. They tell the workers into providing less food in order to keep the lines moving... They're at least partially responsible for everyone getting less at certain times. Most managers can be seen on their phones and not assisting in any duties and generally just being lazy contrasting most of the other workers I've had help me. When I have spoken to managers to fix any problems, they don't actually try to fix it and instead direct you to a website to file a complaint and maybe get your order fixed so it can be someone else's problem. Some have also been responsible for handing other people's orders to me... Unfortunately most of the workers have to go along with the managers' say. Anytime I want to have a problem fixed I will request a worker to speak to as I have had much less trouble with them and they're generally more pleasant to talk to.
The place is generally clean. I haven't seen anything wrong with the upkeep.
My only real complaint is with management being very lazy about participating in any work, and being deflective of any issues that should be fixed. I'd much rather wait a few more minutes so I can get what was paid for than get a husk of a burrito and then wait another 30 minutes to have my order fixed. It just wastes both...
Read moreI’m not one to leave reviews, in fact, I think most reviews have a tendency to be blown out of proportion, however, this chipotle has been greatly disappointing every visit of 2024 and even as far back as November of 2023. I realize it is partially my fault for going to the same place and expecting a different result, but I shouldn’t have to go a town over when I have one in my own, and I’d like to give people the benefit of the doubt for the most part. I understand being out of ingredients once, I understand being out of a different ingredient on another busy day, but when you are out of the same ingredients, With new ones added each time I come, at the same time of day or night I just don’t understand. I have no clue how they organize and run numbers for that place nor do I pretend to, but if I found myself consistently low on the same things at the same time each night with hours before closing, I would think that making more prep for the next night at the very least would be the mind set. I worked in pizza for years, when we ran out of ingredients someone was sent to another store for more product, or to a grocery store to replace what can’t be there until truck night. We also compensated folks or tried our best to make it right when we didn’t have what they were looking for.
Long story short if you want to go to chipotle to overpay for over half of your normal ingredients to be out of your order, and the ingredients they do have are cold, go after 8 pm (3 hours before close) because apparently they are allowed to give up sometime around then. I will never be back to this chipotle, we have a Qdoba in our town and will...
Read moreIf I could give this less than one star I would. I have ate at the multiple Lees Summit locations many times and had no issues, this is my first time here and I will never be back!!
They hardly had any meats available, what little rice and beans were out was dried up and crusty. The customer service was some of the worst I have ever seen or experienced. I specifically asked for the watermelon lemonade to drink, I paid $3.10 for a drink, I asked because when I went over to get it every single lemonade was empty. She just said sorry we are out. Susan, the cashier, knew what I was wanting. I don’t drink pop, I explained that. She didn’t offer me a refund or anything on my drink. An expensive water!
It’s 2:04 in the afternoon and they are just now taking the chairs off the tables and the bar. The music is so loud you can’t hear yourself think let alone have a conversation.
Every table is filthy, my mom had to clean ours off. Multiple people walked out, without food, while we sat to eat. The employees loudly talked about how another customer “bitched” his entire way down the line. So tacky!
Mind you all of this back and forth trying to walk through a mess with a newly broken leg and plate installed on a walker.
If this was my place of business I would be embarrassed. I would not want my friends or family seeing how my business was being run and I sure wouldn’t want them treated like myself or other customers that I saw come in. I saw at least 8 people. Not counting what I’m sure was in the back, they have no excuses for the state of the food or...
