I took my boyfriend here for a birthday lunch at 1pm on a Saturday....thinking it would be a little calmer for a late lunch and no NFL games going on. They definitely weren't packed, but it was very noisy.
We stood at the front door for about 5 minutes....clueless about what we were supposed to do. Finally, a woman yelled to us from across the restaurant to just sit wherever. I even commented to my boyfriend, "How do they even know who to help if they don't seat them!?" We then waited almost 20 minutes for any service. We saw menus on the wall by the front door and started assuming we were supposed to grab our own menus, too. We ended up pulling the menu up on our phones instead.
Finally, a guy, who I assumed was a manager, walked by us after delivering food to the table behind us and did a double take before asking if we had been helped. We told him no and he took our drink order. Shortly after a waitress showed up and asked for our drink order...again. We informed her that someone else was already getting them for us and she responded, "Well, he beat me to it." Beat you to it!? Again, we had been sitting there for 20 minutes! She asked what drinks we ordered so she would remember for refills. We didn't receive a single refill, or a check in by her, and the manger brought us our drinks and food. And the food....terrible. I'm 90% sure the hamburger pattys were frozen, as well as the saltless fries my boyfriend got. He said The Peanut sauce, which is supposed to be so special, I thought, tasted just like buffalo sauce. My avocado, bacon and turkey wrap was basically a lettuce wrap, the meat tasted and looked like canned meat and had no real flavor. There was supposed to be a red pepper cream cheese on it. The one good thing....one good thing...was that my sweet potato fries were actually pretty good.
Then when we were leaving after paying I asked our waitress if the cups could be taken, which she said yes, and offered to fill my cup with water and give me a lid. I was like, "Can it not be refilled with the Sprite that I paid for," and then she said she could and handed me a lid that didn't even fit the...
Read moreWe've been going in for Margaritas after a long day at the hospital- don't even have to ask what we want,we're that predictable. It's also easier to just order dinner than go home and cook, every day is a long day right now.The Belton location has been a saving grace in that respect,a place to decompress. Well, that ship sailed. The service in general has declined to the point of being non- existent.Let me clarify the most important point,it's the young girls. Knew when we walked in last night ,they were all huddled in the wait station, not waiting on tables, service was going to be a crapshoot at best. By the time a waitress came to the table,we should have been on our 2nd drink. Didn't bother to order drinks - we really wanted them about 15 minutes earlier, didn't have any faith that they wouldn't just set in the wait station. Almost 30 minutes later, the appetizer still hadn't arrived. Cancelled the order, didn't realize I was talking to the owner. Really went the extra mile for us,was going to order the food, get it right to us. He was wonderful,we see how all the managers work the floor, very hands on,they all get full marks from us, so does the rest of the wait staff(The waiter is awesome!), but the recent few weeks have proven that the State Line location is well worth the drive. There's simply no substitute for good...
Read moreMy experience was I sent my kid with family to dinner and asked for a brownie sundae. They charged me for my entire family's dinner and said it would take a business day or longer to give me my money back.
Then they said they couldn't make my brownie the way they make it there and sent me this junk.
And also, as far as I know, still attempted to charge me for this "brownie sundae". Too bad I locked my card immediately after the very high charge.
Great job with customer service guys! Let me tell you.
Just what a disabled woman at home in bed wants to have to deal with.
EDIT
Just finally got my money back overnight, and double checked my account.
They still charged the sundae, have yet to respond to the first review, and when I attempted to call the business, guess what? Their line isn't connected.
This had better be remedied in some way, or you're going to be reported to multiple authorities.
Call me a Karen, but I just don't put up with BS...
