FIVE GUYS FOR THE WIN! BLOWS AWAY THE COMPETITION.

This restaurant in Belton is by far the best burger joint in town! They make their burgers with Thick patties, quality beef, and don't use frozen ingredients!

The fries are my favorite out of any fries I've had at other chains. Watch out, they don't hold back on the salt. They leave the skin on for a perfect bold flavored french fry.

When you walk in the door, you see all the signs of the awards, and great reviews the Five Guys chain has received. -Let it be known, that they deserve all the hype. They make quality burgers, the employees serve you with a smile, and the service is fast!

My order was ready within 10 minutes or so of when we placed our pick up order. I arrived and the man behind the counter told me it'll be just a couple minutes for the fries.

So I got them hot and fresh, and he overflowed my fries into the bag. What a value, and how impressed I was with this employee who was happy just to serve me.

I'll be coming back,....over, and over, and over.

Store was very busy, and had to wait 15-20 min for food after placing my order. Which was fine and completely expected on a Friday evening. Front counter staff was very friendly and efficient. Food was not as spectacular. Normally we absolutely love 5 guys, today not so much. French fries were under cook and mushy, burgers were cooked well but by the time we got them the buns were mushy. I feel like the line staff was not in sync with each other. Our burgers were done well before our fries and therefore sat for a while waiting for the fries. The fries were rushed and not left in the fryer long enough and were mushy like a baked potato with no crisp outer like you expect. We ended up throwing away half our meal just because it was too gross to eat. For the prices they charge you expect the food to be excellent and on point. I was initially excited about Belton getting their own 5 guys but after my first visit I'm sad to say I won't be going back until I start hearing better reviews. I'll make the drive to the Lee's...

Never had a problem at this shop until my visit on September 10, about 5pm. The AC was either out or turned off, so it was very warm and humid inside. I ordered 2 burgers and fries. The fries were top notch but the burgers were charred beyond recognition. Since my order was to go, I didn't find out until I got home. The place was packed with many guests also taking food to-go. Most of the tables needed to be wiped down. They seemed to have a full staff, so I'm not sure where things went sideways.

All this to say I'll be back because every place has off nights and FG fries are that good!

ETA: tried again on Oct 23rd. Burgers were again overcooked and wrong toppings added. My patty was so dry it was in pieces on the bun. I'm all for jigsaw puzzles, but not in burger form. Tge family at the next table also had overdone/incorrect burgers. Fries were ok, but needed salt. Looks like we'll be going elsewhere for burgers...
