About 2 months ago I left pepper jacks grill an amazing review. They went above and beyond to take care of my red meat allergy. Since then I've deleted that review because that went back and dealt with the general manager that was just completely out of hand we was the first customers in there so the grill was already clean I knew this because I'd work fast food we had specifically told the manager to make my sandwich first because I was allergic to red meat she said okay. After all said and done sitting down I only managed to eat a quarter of half of the sandwich to realize that there was red meat in my sandwich. This is not the first time that this has happened at this location. It's actually happened multiple times. I mainly try to go back to please my wife. When I told the cashier of the incident she made the manager aware of the manager came over and prompted me that I was again the first customer inside that there was no way that there was red meat on my sandwich. Which making this the third incident it definitely offended me made me feel like she was calling me a liar so yes I definitely lost my cool and started cussing a bit more. She asked me to take my seat that she would help me as soon as she was done with the customer and give me a complete refund. I was completely fine with that and that would have been the end of it until the customer started trash talking me to the general manager and instead of blowing that conversation off she engaged in trash talking about me with the customer when confronted she tried to play the victim she kept saying that I'm making this way too big of a deal. I don't know about anybody else but if you have an allergy it's a pretty big deal. So for the general manager of pepper Jack's to downplay my allergy was very demeaning she was very unprofessional and I pray that she has her job tooken from her because that was unacceptable as a general manager. I will never ever step foot back in that pepper jacks...
Read moreUpdated the review here following a bad experience. They were short on the line- needed one other person. Meanwhile the Manager is in full view of the customers WEIGHING OUT FRENCH FRIES like some 1300's Silk Road trader weighing out Frankencense. I asked if they fries were hot and he gave a snotty answer, responding that all fries are made to order. But he was a liar- I literally witnessed the Fry-weigher fill my box with fries that had already been sitting in the hopper. He had, of course over spiced them. Must not have weighed his shakeout of seasoning.
I understand that food prep is necessary and if prep doesn't show up you prep the orders in the back and bring the fries out. It's incredibly rude and off putting to have someone weigh your potatoes out to the hundredths of decimal places while not being on the line providing service.
Food is good but that's because it's based on a Univ. Nebraska food scientist patent for how to cook a cheesesteak in 90 seconds.
3 Cheesesteaks, one order of fries and two drinks was $42.50. They're 8 inch buns with 3oz of meat. Take that as you may. The cheeseseak was 6.99 a couple of years ago- not anymore.
This place has really had the price runup so be aware. Say hi to the Manager when he's there he'll be hovering over his fries like some sort of MEDIEVAL DRAGON HIDING AN EGG FROM A CRUSADING KNIGHT.

Read moreI'm new to this area. So I will admit the only thing I can go off of is how I am treated and how the food tastes. No expectations are set, the ball is truly in the court of the restaurant. When I walked in. I was not greeted. There were two young gentlemen at the grill and asked what do i want. I explained i had never been there before and was trying to figure it out. They both looked irritated I was taking so long. Yet neither offered to explain their menu or product. Once I ordered, they made it very confusing. Both ask me questions at different ends of the grill and counter. I ended up ordering fries, 2 philly steak subs, 2 drinks and a kids meal. The tables were dirty so we asked the gentlemen can someone clean the tables off. Let me add there is no trash can so you simply leave your trash on the table. The gentleman answered yes we bus the tables. Great! So we waited he totaled our food (which was almost 40 dollars) asked me if I wanted a receipt, uh yes.... only only to see it was the credit card receipt not the itemized one. Then we waited for him to clean a table, when we reasked could he clean a table for us, he said, um I'm kinda busy. REALLY? We cleaned our own table, ate and left. It wasnt until we were almost done eating someone came around and cleaned some of the tables. The food, it was good. Not phenomenal or the best I have had but it was good. Disappointed it didnt turn out to be a better experience. Probably will not go back until the owner or General Manager...
