Go directly to the Wendy's on 3rd street instead, they're absolutely amazing and super friendly. Don't go here and definitely do NOT go through the drive-through if you have an appointment etc. following your stop. It will not be quick. Severe workplace morale issues likely influencing the poor service people are receiving here. A few weeks ago I got stuck in the drive-thru for 45 minutes (closer to an hour) and ultimately left without my order, after waiting another 10 once I reached the window with no one showing up to take my payment. I figured maybe it was a one-off and stopped in again yesterday. The employees seemed miserable like their job was sucking the souls out of them, it was depressing. Only the female employee who works there seemed to be taking her job seriously but even she seemed depressed. At the same time, there were 4 employees that I saw and it was not busy, with no one in the drive thru at this time and only a few folks in the dine-in area. I paid for a small single order and stood waiting almost a half-hour for it, before ultimately walking out without my order while a few other annoyed but patiently waiting customers stacked up behind me. The employee at the front counter was wearing a "Snitches Get Stitches" cap with brass knuckles on it, which typically I don't give a single damn about what any employee wears anywhere; but it sure didn't make me feel like a complaint in person was going to be handled well. The last straw for me was another employee coming out with a sundae and yelling out the order; when no one came to get it immediately he slammed the sundae down on the counter, causing melted ice-cream droplets to fly everywhere and land on the floor in front of myself and the other waiting customers. The place was also messy with fries and grease all over the floor. I finally walked out. I reported my experience to corporate since the responses in the reviews here are so canned, which I'm sure you'll see below after I post this. If you're actually reading this DQ, say something other than the canned response you're giving everyone else. Bet you won't.
It's DQ's responsibility to ensure their employees have the tools and incentives to give good service to their customers. This isn't a failure on the part of the employees it's DQ's/the franchise owner's for letting it get this bad. Easy to see how this could happen if employees are not being paid/incentivized enough to give a damn. Care for your employees better so they can care for your...
Read moreThe woman behind the counter was unhelpful, rude, myself my wife and two other customers that came in right behind us all left completely disappointed all we wanted to do was get an $.89 Blizzard for there 89th birthday celebration understandably minimum $1 purchase when we see there are no visible prices for anything on there menu even on the app non of us keeping in mind the other customers "we've never met before" are doing and wanting the same thing were unable to find any prices not trying to be cheap but not wanting to spend $15 for an $.89 blizzard, you'd think there would be a value menu or a priced out menu or a staff member who could tell us how much a small fries or onion rings etc would be,but instead we got a talk to the hand gesture then hand switch to the floor as she walked to the back saying something in a foreign language we couldn't understand her the other employees laughed and nobody came back out to help!! I don't ever leave reviews so when this option appeared on my phone and it being two weeks later I saw that as a sign of karma making it's rounds and a thank you Burger King for your $1 ice...
Read moreWe are part-time residents and have enjoyed going to DQ when in town. The place was always clean and the employees were on top of things. One visit we heard they were getting new owners and we hoped the same staff would remain. Last visit, in May, the new staff was there. The management obviously hadn't trained them very well, although the girl at the register was very friendly. Otherwise, the way things were run was dumb. We only ordered a sundae and a Blizzard so it shouldn't have been difficult. The guy making our order brought it out, sat it on the counter, and never told the front girl who had her back to the counter. Since she was busy visiting with some friends, our ice cream melted. Finally, we had to ask for our order. Another dumb thing is when you order, they give you a number but never call it. They just take the food out and look around until they find the person who ordered it, wasting time. The line for the drive-up window was longer than we had ever seen it under the former owners. So, no more 3rd. St. DQ for us. We're not that desperate for a treat. Management...
