To be totally honest, I've never been a burger guy. I get hungry, I never seek out a burger, but I just couldn't stop hearing about this truck, so I figured it was worth a shot.

I pull up, first thing I notice is the no frills menu- do you want 1 patty or 3..? that's pretty much it. Secondly, was the line of line of people seemingly on their way to some kind of Mecca. There was this couple with a new born in their arms calling out to the manager that during the pregnancy, the mother had a singular craving. I was blown away that they wanted a picture of all of them, the truck, and the owner- I can envision the christmas cards now.

Holy cow, was the stage set. I opted for the double patty + spicy option, and sat patiently watching those with fulfilled orders take first bites in euphoria and ecstasy wondering if it was them eating the burger, or the other way around.

The buzzer in my pocket broke me out of the initial trance. Showtime. Now the foretold holy grail is in front of me. Double patty dripping, sauce glistening in the reflection of a perfect March afternoon, the aroma commanding my attention and fervor. After the first bite, I blacked out. As if taken away to some other place beyond the veil, I entered a divine heaven of perfection. Ideas of creation and destruction danced upon the plate with each passing bite. Silence is broken with various forms of "oh god".
