The parks are great but the dog parks near private properties cause issues. People are not making sure they let their dogs off leash within the enclosed areas and they are not respectful of private property. Many times animals wander into private yards where animals and children live. This poses a safety concern. Why is this not enforced? What about parking? Many users park cars in private alleys and drives. This blocks private access to residences and is not an authorized parking area. Signs are posted for private drives and property but they are neglected. Why is this not enforced? If you want to spend so much money on a dog park, set some aside to enforce the rules so private residences are not disturbed or disrespected...

Really bummed about my experience today. I called for almost 2 hours about off leash dogs at Ponderosa Park. They sent Trident security and Trident joked about the calls with the lady who had the off leash dog. Her dog then knocked over a toddler. I was transferred to the Lead Joel. He never answered, never called me back and only sent Trident again. Trident circled the parking lot and left for the 3rd time. There is still an off leash lab...
Read moreJust throwing this out there . . . Pet Parade is always fun on July 4th for possibly all except the pets due to extreme heat that seems predictable now on that date. I know you supply water but there is no way these wonderful animals can take off their fur coats or get the pads of their paws off the hot pavement. They can succumb to the effects of high temps much quicker than us and fatally. They should not be forced to endure this for our enjoyment. Was wondering if perhaps it could be moved to Labor Day ? ( Although this year it was terribly hot even Sept. 2 ! ) Kids esp look forward to it but it is starting to feel like animal...
