Va Piano Vineyards Tasting Room — Attraction in Bend

Va Piano wine is very good! The staff Is generally very friendly and knowledgeable. Kids are welcome, there is a little chalkboard easel to play with. And when my parents brought my daughter, she was given a free snack (fishy crackers or something).

I bought a yearlong wine club membership as a gift for my parents who are on a fixed income and can't afford to go out very much. The membership included unlimited wine flights (4 2-oz pours). and the lady who sold it to me said they could come in multiple times per day if they wanted to! My parents did end up going 3-4 times a week and really enjoyed it.

After a few months the wine club policy changed and each member now receives 2 glasses of wine per month, since some people were "abusing" the original policy by coming in all the time and never buying anything (side note, the only food available is an $18 cheese plate). I requested a refund of the 2nd half of the membership, it was processed immediately, no questions asked.

But my parents told me they actually stopped going before the policy change after they were confronted by staff who claimed they had been overheard making a rude comment about a waitress. My parents said no, it must be a misunderstanding, they had no issues at all with the waitress. The staff member argued, insisting a couple sitting at a nearby table had ALSO heard this rude comment, and the staff would hold a meeting to decide how to "handle" it. So now my mom is too...

After driving 1100 miles in 2 days. I got settle in my room and walked to the Old Mill distric. Beautiful place! I decided to have a seat at Va Piano and have some wine. The plan was to taste test and mail some home. Unfortunately for me, I went in ordered a glass and went outside to the patio my bench was really unstable, there was 6 of us sitting outside. No one inside. The employee would wait on everyone else but me. I tried to stop her as she was going in the door but she kept going. After about 10 min. I walked inside and paid for my glass and left. It was horrible service and...

The staff was amazing. Service was amazing. Was there on a beautiful day looking at the mountains from the back patio with my fur baby and had a wonderful experience and wine was best ive had in bend. Definitely will be returning to enjoy this top of the line tasting room. ** Also in response to the owner (not sure how to respond to a reply) but the young lady working today was amazing with the customers. I watched some of her interactions with people and would not hesitate to hire her for my company....
