I went to the drive thru on 1/14/15 at about 6:30pm. Three employees were standing right outside the door smoking when I pulled into the drive thru. They went inside and took my order. When I got to the window, I paid and the girl (white female approximately 20 years old) immediately asked me to pull forward because the food was cooking. No one was behind me in line so I asked if I could wait at the window. She said, "well, it messes our time up because we have to get the food out in a certain time." and I said, "well, you're not getting the food out in that time and it's cold outside, so can I just wait here?" and she slammed the window. A second girl (black female approximately mid 20s) came 11 minutes later and handed me a bag. I asked for some extra tarter sauce. she said "I put it in the bag" I said, well may I please have extra since I have four meals?" and she said, "I TOLD YOU IT WAS IN THE BAG" and slammed the window shut. I honked my horn to ask her to please give me some tarter but she walked away. a male employee (male black approximately 20 years old) came around from the back and fixed himself a drink while I sat there waiting. Once I got home and opened the meals, the fish I had ordered was in a pile. Like it had been smashed and then put in the box. It was in many pieces. Due to the appearance of the food and the hostile environment at this location, I discarded all three meals. I find this ridiculous that people are so rude. One having a bad day is one thing but for THREE to be what appeared to me as irritated I "made them" come in from smoking because I pulled in the drive thru was ridiculous. My nine year old cried because she wasn't allowed to eat her food. I'm...
Read moreEdit: After a 6 month boycott, I thought maybe they have cleaned this place up, maybe they have better trained employees who actually care about their jobs, but I was wrong. This time I was parked in the parking lot to wait for small dinner. After 15 minutes of myself and several other customers sitting in the parking lot and no sign of our orders, I drove back around to get a refund. I was told it would take 3 days to get my money back. After my last poor encounter at this location I was never replied to by the owner when I contacted them, and nothing was done to correct the previous issue, so I should never have returned, and after this I will not come back to this location. 3 strikes and you're out. Tl;Dr: If you go to this business expect wait times of over 15 minutes and refund times of 3 days when they screw up your order. Good luck.
1:17pm Saturday August 19th, 2023. I was left waiting in the parking lot for 15 minutes by the rudest cashier "Cynthia." I had to go inside after 15 minutes to get my food. I paid over $35 for a 10 piece family pack, with over $3 for a family side upgrade to okra, and all we got was a single side of okra. Also only received ONE cup of tartar sauce for A 10 PIECE FAMILY MEAL..... All thanks to the great "Cynthia." I was then hung up on by the staff, probably this same "Cynthia," after trying to get this corrected or get my money back. Will not be back. Do not go here if you want good food, good service or a good experience at all. Will be contacting the corporate office over...
Read moreMy wife has her nails done in Benton and she broke one this morning at church so I told her we would drive down that way, eat a quick lunch and get her nails fixed. I have always enjoyed Captain D's but it has been quite a while since we have been conveniently near one so when we went down Military we pulled in to eat. The menu has had a few changes since the last time we were there but my wife and I both ordered our traditional favorites. She had the chicken tenders and had the three piece fish with Cole Slaw and mac and cheese. As I paid for the meal I noticed a sign on the counter for seafood gumbo. I told the manager that I had run a store in Louisiana and learned to love good Cajun gumbo. I was actually a little surprised when he said that if I was used to Louisiana gumbo, it was alright but not as good as real Louisiana gumbo. So I added a small gumbo to my meal just to try it. After we were served he made a point to come over to make sure that everything was alright, that we didn't need anything else and to ask what I thought of the gumbo. I confessed that it had a little more salt than I liked but all-in-all it wasn't bad. He was very friendly and polite, the food was as always good (and Captain D's has always had great sweet tea),but the service was excellent. We were made to feel welcome by the whole staff. Good food, good conversation and great service, how could...
