*Update 6/2/2025 I just want to add a little experience I had today while waiting for my pizza.. As I was waiting, a young woman walked in with her daughter, who was maybe 5 years old. The woman asked for a personal pizza and asked the price. It's a very reasonable deal at just $6, and the woman was pleased. Then the daughter asked if she could get a drink too. The mother asked the employee how much a drink cost, and she said $3+. I don't know the exact amount, but it was very close to $4, and might have been above $4 which is disgusting and insane. The woman rightly balked at this price and asked why a simple drink would cost more than half of the price of a small personal pizza? She then asked for a cup of water for free instead just for her daughter and the employee refused, claiming that they only have soft drinks and no water at all. In the end, she broke down and paid the ridiculous price for the drink.
The sad truth is I have been noticing almost all fast food and sit down restaurants trying to push drink prices to $4 and $5. What is the actual cost to a fast food restaurant for 1 drink? 12 cents for the liquid soda, 7 cents for the paper cup and 1 cent for the lid. In the 1990's they charged us the consumer $1.20 for a soda... Then that slowly rose to $2. Then this year that same $1 cup of soda that costs the manager 20 cents is almost $5! That price used to be exclusive for airports and NYC tourist areas, but now it's spreading like a virus and every restaurant is pushing drink prices past the limit of the consumer.
My solution is to buy my drinks in bulk at Costco and bring one every time I go out to eat.
If the management reads this, please work with Pizza Hut corporate and let's get those drink prices back down to reasonable $1 or $2. Price gouging drinks is really bad. It's mostly water, a little syrup and ice. Why should that be almost the same price as the pizza?
End of update.
Nice pizza hut location in Bergenfield. It's at the Teaneck end of town, close to the Armory.
What I miss most is the Pizza Hut of the 1980s. It used to be a large, family style, sit down restaurant with plenty of tables, salad bar and pan pizza delivered to your table still inside the deep dish pan.
Today we have only the pizza remaining. No more salad bar, no more family style sit down restaurant. Just grab your pizza and go.
Pizza is cooked hot, fresh and tasty. the personal pie is just the right serving size and price at $6. The flavor has a nice balance of dough, cheese and sauce with a buttery texture. This is without the nasty heavy garlic infusion that Domino's pizzas suffer from.
Parking in the back is free but space is limited.
Restaurant was clean. No indoor seating other than 1 park bench to rest at while waiting for your food to cook.

Read moreI would first like to begin with I am a loyal fan of pizza hut and had excellent experience with them for the past 5 years! Upon visiting, I decided to persuade my family by ordering pizza hut from this restaurant store number #013159. BIGGEST MISTAKE!!! I was overcharged. I ordered 2 medium pizzas, cheese sticks, wings and a drink. One of the pizzas was cold, old, and very dry.In addition, it had little to NO cheese on it. The other pizza was great except for the HAIR in it. The cheese sticks were perfect but the wings were burnt. As for the customer service.... VERY UNPROFESSIONAL, I walked in and they served the man behind me because he spoke Spanish, (I guess they didn't know I spoke the language too) even though I arrived before him they served him first. They charged my account without saying hi, smile, or anything. They did not have the correct sauce for the wings, I said it was okay and selected a different one. I They didn't want to restock stuff so other items were missing. The ladies were yelling across the store "wheres da bbq sauce at? there aint none" "where da drank at, she want a mt dew..." Overall, I had to wait an extra several minutes I had to correct them on my order and change it a few times because they were too lazy to go into the back and get the proper items. Upon receiving my order I asked them to show it to me and it didn't look pleasant!!!! I was ready to say take it back but since they already charged my account it would be a waste. To make matters worst they tried to charge me AGAIN after I waited the extra 10 plus minutes for them to finish my order! Very unprofessional, loud, rude... I will NEVER order from them again. Do yourself a favor, go to...
Read moreWe ordered 1 Garlic bread pizza ( 9 pieces), 1 Pzonne and 1 order of breadsticks with a Pepsi, the order was placed at approximately 9:40PM. We received our food by 10:50PM However the breadsticks were forgotten and the food arrived cold. We \called back to let the women on the phone know that we did not receive our full order. She was rude and did not apologize and asked if we wanted to be given credit or if we wanted the food. ( I SHOULD HAVE CHOSE CREDIT). Instead I chose to get the food because I was really looking forward to eating them. Now we called back immediately after we brought the food into the house which was at around 10:57 or so. Of course we didnt realize that Pizza Hut closes at 11:00 PM. Anyway, we didn't receive our remaining food item until almost 12AM. Being that we had to wait so long you would think that the food would be fresh...I can assure you it was NOT fresh and it tasted like someone microwaved the order of food from 2 hours ago....The sauce tasted sour and made me sick while the breadsticks were soggy and tasted like they were sitting for weeks. We were not at all pleased with how this was handled. It shouldn't matter if you close at 11:00PM or your open until 1:00AM, customer service and satisfaction should be top priority and I Can assure you that it wasn't and you could feel it over the phone and in the food. We will not be ordering from Pizza Hut for a very long time. I will be calling in the morning and speaking to a manager about our food that will now be thrown away because it is not edible.
Sincerely,
Katie Sterling...
