So this my second time trying this place and DEFINITELY MY LAST. The first time i tired Alibertos i paid for two churros i only received 1 i also ordered a chicken burrito and after a few bits i was expecting chicken. Nope. I literally was feeling around for chicken pieces in my mouth. Barely any chicken in my burrito. Now tonight 11/6/22 My boyfriend decided to order from Alibertos and he decided to order the 5 mini tacos he order me a red sauce steak wet burrito plate and also guacamole and chips. Now we get home open the food and the guacamole is ontop of the chips already turning brown due to it being place in the same bag as the hot food we ordered. Now im use to guacamole on the side with some chip. Then he open up his taco plate. Looks decent but no Sauce and meat needs to be seasoned. Now my wet burrito plate looks decent but the sauce had way to much oil in it. There was no sour cream or guacamole onto of it like its displayed and once i cut it open it was layers of tortilla befor you get to the meat. I took a bite and it was very salty. I know i should of never went back since the first experience i had. I live in the aera so i like to help out my community. I learned to listen to myself...
Read moreI got an enchilada with a taco. The enchilada was simply a tortilla with unmelted cheese inside and some enchilada sauce thrown on the side of it with a mound of lettuce on top of it. The taco was another tortilla folded over and at least that was fried that was also stuffed with a bunch of lettuce And I ordered one with beef and there was probably two fingers worth of beef in there. And the refried beans look like they definitely came from a can. Definitely not maiden house that’s for sure and I got a an orange drink to go with it. That was probably the only thing that was right about this entire meal all for the low low price of $20! This plate of food probably cost them $1.50. I asked one of the people how long they’ve been open and he said they’ve been open for a whole year. I don’t know how that’s possible but the kind of food I got they should’ve closed the following day after...
Read moreThis was my first meal after getting off the plane from Toronto. I'd never been but it was late and we were hungry and my brother brought over a LOT of food from Aliberto's, including the biggest, fullest quesadilla I've ever seen. Aliberto's is really bang for buck. Hefty portions, good prices, fresh and tasty food. I've been back in Toronto for just over a month and if I could transport Aliberto's here, I definitely would. I'm particularly fond of their cabeza (head meat) tacos and their quesadilla mar y tierra (surf and turf with shrimp and pork?). That quesadilla is HUGE. Easily feeds two, I'd say, and at $13.49 including 16oz drink, it's a much better deal than I can find on Mexican food here at home. I also had flautas for the first time in almost 20 years and that made me...
