Came by yesterday for our Sunday Morning coffee. We were stunned by how bright and open the space is!
When you enter, there are tables and board games to the left and a retail shelf to the right. When you get to the counter, take a moment to admire the beautiful Jaffa orange mural on the wall by the baristas/register. Beautifully done & really sets a good tone for your experience.
Jaffa Coffee Roasters offers their standard cafe menu, seasonal tea/mocktails, signature mocktails, refreshers, and seasonal hojicha. They also have a selection of baked goods and some handmade bonbons.
Since it was our first visit (and definitely not our last) we decided to try their seasonal mocktails— Just in Thyme ($8) & Gen Z Beel ($8). We got oat milk in each of them instead of the standard which added $1 extra to each and there is a $0.25 Berkeley Cup Charge. We also ordered a Jaffa Orange BonBon ($5.50) and a small Jaffa Cake ($5). Our order totaled at $29.
While we waited for our order, we entertained ourselves with some of their coffee infographics by the creamer and to go lids. The bathroom was also well maintained and was decorated to the general theme which was super cute! We also snacked on the Jaffa Orange Bon Bon and Jaffa Cake. I found the Bon Bon to be a tad bit too gritty for my preference but the flavor was great. A subtle orange flavor with a nice rich chocolate. The Jaffa Cake was unique- a spongey cake topped with chocolate. It went great with the coffee because it wasn’t too sweet.
The drinks were so fun & had a beautiful presentation. Each drink definitely takes some time to prepare so having the pastries to snack on while we waited was ideal. The Gen Z Beel was essentially a spiced coffee. It was perfectly bitter and the coffee flavor shined through. The Just in Thyme was my favorite. I am definitely biased because I prefer a fruit infused coffee. I could honestly even enjoy this drink without milk since there’s already whipped cream on top. I especially enjoyed the dehydrated pear garnish.
The owner was our cashier, I forgot to ask for his name but he was happy to answer all of our questions and even went through the entire menu with us since it was our first visit. The baristas looked super busy but still made time to briefly chat with us when we were grabbing our drinks from the pickup area. They also made sure that we were aware of where to get lids for...
Read moreJaffa Coffee Roasters is the real deal. This isn’t just a coffee shop—it’s a craft coffee experience. From the moment you walk in, you can tell they take their roasting seriously. Every cup is made with precision, passion, and top-tier beans, and you can taste the difference.
One of the roasters—actually, the head roaster—is an engineer, and it shows. You’ll see all kinds of scientific glassware (think Erlenmeyer flasks and beakers) used in their brewing process, giving the whole place a next-level, almost lab-like vibe. But don’t let that fool you—this spot isn’t just about science; it’s about heart.
The service? Impeccable. The staff is knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely passionate about their craft. They’ll walk you through their roasts, recommend something based on your taste, and make sure you leave with the perfect cup.
And beyond the coffee itself, what makes Jaffa truly special is the cause behind it. It’s a Palestinian-owned business, and you can feel the love and cultural pride infused into every detail. The interior is stunningly decorated, creating a cozy yet modern space that makes you want to sit and stay awhile.
But let’s get to the most important part—the coffee. It’s phenomenal. Smooth, rich, perfectly roasted—whether you go for a classic espresso, a pour-over, or something more adventurous, every sip delivers.

Read moreWent into Jaffa Coffee roasters this morning & im still thinking about the excellent & delicious espresso single origin. I’ve been to Jaffa Coffee a couple of times & their drinks never disappoint! They’re always perfectly balanced, consistent & you can taste the thoughtfulness put into every drink. The owner was so accommodating to dialing in and making me a single origin espresso for me to try & it was perfectly balanced. Natural washed Ethiopia Guji. Notes: Very stone fruit forward, lots of apricot, milk chocolate, and a very mellow & bright finish which wasn’t too intense.
They get their pastries from midwife & the baker.. get their Guava cheese danish. It’s delicious! Had to buy 2 more before leaving for my folks to try. Thank you again for the amazing espresso & nice conversation about coffee. Will definitely be...
