McDonald's — Restaurant in Berkeley

I had an extremely disappointing experience with the customer service, which was both rude and disrespectful. I urge the management to address this issue, as such behavior can seriously harm a business. Leaders should take immediate action.

This incident occurred on Saturday, January 27th, at 2:30 AM at the drive-thru. We initially ordered an Oreo McFlurry. Upon receiving it, we realized that it was actually an M&M McFlurry. When we requested the correct order, the employee asked us to return the incorrect one. As a former restaurant worker, I know this isn’t sanitary, especially since we had already started eating it. We suggested keeping it to avoid waste, but the employee responded rudely, insisting we need to return it now to receive the correct order. Her demeanor and tone were extremely off-putting. Despite my polite request, she continued to be rude, throwing away the M&M McFlurry in a harsh way and giving us the Oreo one with a noticeable attitude and rudeness!! Very poor costumer service. Because of this experience, I have decided not to patronize this establishment again. I hope this gets attention as every worked is the face...

Someone here at this McDonalds is pulling a fast one. Two days ago - 5/5-2022, I purchased two cheeseburgers, fries and coke. I requested the "regular size." It was all put into a bag and I went to the table. I opened the bag and immediately noticed that the fries were in what appeard to be a small paper bag (Not boxed) and when I went to the counter and enquired, I pulled out the bag to show. The small bag was stamped “Large” and I enquired further. Much to my surprise the teller said that yes... this was now the large fry order! This new deception is LESS than 1/2 or the medium order that comes with the large fry combo of the two burgers, fry and coke. I won’t be headed to this McDonalds again and when on the road, if this is the norm... I will stop eating at the McDonalds chains from now on! McDonalds has always had the best french fries and this is simple deception for the consumer. Yep... this is the LARGE SIZE (Read it yourself!) that is now served...

So. It's McDonald's. Been to hundreds. This place is located in a convenient spot. Often the only option. Drive thru order of more than 2 items NEVER correct. Quarter pounder? Cold and raw or cold and dry/dry/burnt. Fries cold and raw no salt or entire salt shaker. Nuggets cold and burnt or cold and older than my youngest (26 now)

It's as if all of the other McDonald's in the Bay Area drop off food that shouldn't be sold here. Management doesn't care. The staff doesn't care. They don't listen. Some don't understand. It's always annoying when they read the screen back to you you, give you bag and look confused when you show them the contents are completely wrong.

This business is all buttons. It should not be hard to work at. If the ffood gets cooked wrong long or whatever it's no good. If it gets wasted it's not my problem. IT'S MY MONEY. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone.
