I don’t typically write reviews, especially since becoming a new mom to twin two-year-olds. My days are usually a whirlwind of tantrums, snacks, and trying to hold it all together. But after my experience at Bombshell, I knew I had to take a moment to express my gratitude.

Taking my twins out for ice cream was supposed to be a quick escape from the craziness at home. They had been crying and throwing tantrums all day, and I was honestly just trying to keep it together. The moment we walked into Bombshell Tree Bar, they were excited but still on the edge of another meltdown. And I genuinely didn’t know if I could handle another one! Lol

Taylor was beyond sweet and patient with my kids. She made them feel comfortable, and somehow managed to make the whole process easy for me. For those precious few minutes, I didn’t have to do anything Taylor took care of everything, allowing me just five minutes of peace, which was exactly what I needed.

After we ordered, I felt the need to apologize for the noise and the tantrums, but she said no. Instead, she reassured me that I was doing a great job as a mom, reminding me that tantrums are just part of the package with toddlers. Her words were exactly what I needed to hear, and I can’t express how much that brief conversation meant to me. She was supportive, kind, and made me feel seen and understood.

As my kids happily devoured their ice cream, Taylor and I chatted for a bit, and it became the highlight of my day. It’s taken me some time to write this review, but it’s been at the top of my list because I’m so appreciative of her kindness and support. The ice cream was delicious, the store was adorable, and that little break made all the difference for me.

I'm not going to say some of them are prejudice but I will say this about the young man who was serving yesterday Tuesday, June 25th around 3:00pm. So, I seen people with a menu in their hand and I told him this was my first time here (but that didn't phase him at all, he acted like I knew how everything supposed to be handled and ordered). So I asked him for a menu, he pointed up at the menu on the wall and said, everything is listed right there. 😡. I said, the menu like she has (lady in front of me and behind me had one). So, the lady in front of me said, you can have mine. Then later I seen them on the wall going towards the bathroom and behind the front door when leaving. Then another young lady waited on me, she was ok, but she didn't put our ☂️on our ice cream like the young man put on all the the ice cream bars he did. I had to ask for them. My niece wanted them! 😂 I won't say, I won't be back because I want my bike club to experience it and we have different ethnicities riding with us!!! But, please treat everyone fairly and when it's someone's first time please be more excited that they took the time out to visit your establishment. Explain how it works although, now I figured it out by getting a menu!!! 👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 Also, we sat outside and the tables were dirty!!! No one came out not once to check and clean them!!!

I didn't like the Oat Milk but it wasn't nasty. I wish I had a little more strawberry drizzle on my bar for the price I paid but my babi loved her bar with the oreo cookies and I like mine with the strawberry drizzle and Oreo cookies once I got used to the Oat Milk. Next time I'll get it dipped in strawberry. 😂

Ps: Had I gotten a menu I would have known what to get instead of trying to read the menu on the wall and trying to figure out what to get myself and my niece when the line is moving pretty fast and they're looking at us crazy because we don't know...
