I stopped in for lunch last Saturday with my kiddo. Customer service, cleanliness and food quality 10/10! It was my first time and the manager went above and beyond to explain the menu and offerings. He also informed me that I could get a free kids bowl with purchase of an entrée. The price for a shawarma was more than expected but definitely worth it for the quality/variety. The dark meat chicken was freshly grilled, tender and juicy. My wrap included hummus, garlic, chicken, tomato, diced pickles, picked radish, and lettuce – side of white sauce (zesty ranch) & tabbouli (had no bulgar wheat in it, not sure how I feel about that, but it was flavorful). They wrapped the sandwich and pressed it to warm/grill slightly which was a nice touch. For the free kids bowl it was a good size for a toddler with a small helping of basmati rice (amazing, & best bite especially with the added the raisins & almonds), finely diced chicken, tomato, chickpeas, lettuce, and parsley with garlic sauce on side. Both meals so delicious that I’ve been thinking about it all week. I didn’t see the cheesecake baklava but it looks/sounds amazing too. This place will be in regular rotation for us.

Highly disappointed in my first experience with pita way. Place has a lot of hype but what I received is literal not worth any dollar amount. Large garlic costing 12 bucks and not getting pita bread with it is beyond wild. This burnt super Dearborn that’s the size of a regular shawarma is probably the worst thing I’ve ever seen sent out of any restaurant. Don’t waste your money because that large rice doesn’t even fill the bowl which is crazy for 7 bucks. My children had to eat burnt chicken tenders, which they did but how hard is it to make chicken tenders that aren’t dark brown??? Will never spend my money on this or any location of pita way. I’ll be nice and say this place is disgraceful to the cooking industry and the owner/workers should not only feel shame but they should just close up shop. Can’t put into words how mad I am working the hours I work to spend my money on trash.

I had the Quesopita. White chicken, cucumber, tomato, yellow peppers, lettuce, cheese, humus, chipotle sauce. This is Amazing! At first I was weary at the price. Well everything is pricey. But dang is this thing tasty, totally worth it! It's a good size also, so I'm saving the other half for later. The ingredients look and taste fresh. I can't say for sure, but I think that's why it tastes good. Another customer was waiting with me and he said it's one of his favorite places, he went to the Lavonia place. At the time of this review the Berkley location is new. 5 stars. Got a regular. I Rarely write reviews, that's how much I liked this pita! Edit: I ate the other half. Too good!

They ripped us off. We ordered for delivery a DAY BEFORE to make sure we had our order for our party. The next day someone arrived with our food with one small bag and SOMEONE ELSE’S name. The delivery guy & no clue who he was delivering too & WE had to correct him. He said he would double with the store BUT he didn’t he bother to call the store and drove off without assuring us he would come back with our order. WE had to call the store & tell them our order was mixed up. They didn’t even hear of this mix up & said our order was picked up by someone else & unsure who picked it up. I’m sorry, HOW DO DOES SOMEONE ELSE PICK UP ANOTHER ORDER WITHOUT YOU CONFIRMING IT WAS FOR THE RIGHT PERSON?! So they said at first that the food was gone & they were not going to remake it, but after some arguing they agreed to make & deliver the food. Some other person called & said someone was on their way & we wanted to confirm if they had to right order but of course that person had NO IDEA! Someone else showed up with our food, not bothering to call us beforehand so we can meet him as we instructed & had to track him down at our facility. When we got our order, we were missing some items & if we ordered it again, who knows if that food would’ve came on time! This place is a rip, no coordination with orders & deliverers & clearly just lets people pick up random orders without checking, so once the food’s gone it’s not their problem! They clearly have an issue, surprised they are still in business at this location. Unless you want someone’s else order, terrible delivery, barely any of the food you ordered & ripped off, I suggest you order from another...
