I cannot recommend Reginald's enough! I've been coming here pretty much every Friday morning for over a year now as an end of the week treat, and I always leave simply delighted. First of all, the atmosphere is lovely. From the cute historical schoolhouse exterior, to the bright and cheerful interior, this is the perfect setting to come alone, with friends, on a date, or with clients and coworkers. They have an outdoor seating area on the lawn (dog friendly) and a spacious interior seating throughout the schoolhouse. The coffee bean roaster in the cafe is such a cool touch, and the decor for each season adds charm to an already fantastic scene. On top of that, the staff are the absolute best! Every single barista is friendly, skilled, and efficient. They expertly work through busy morning rushes while still smiling and chatting with everyone. Even if you place a large order, they answer all your questions and help you without ever letting you feel like a bother. Truly the nicest folks to interact with any time of day (I hear they even have a certain puppy dog supervising things on the weekends sometimes). Next - and possibly most importantly to some - is that their selection of drinks is incredible. They change their latte and tea offerings with the seasons (aside from the basic staples) and I've always been pleased and impressed with every new item I've tried. Over the summer they had a bananas foster latte that was out of this world good. The flavors they invent are unique and delicious, and with the new(ish) pastry offerings you can pair up the perfect breakfast any time of year. Last but not least, their social media presence is active and fun. They regularly post updates regarding the shop and offerings, and even keep you up to date on community events (I wouldn't have known about all the fantastic Pittsburgh coffee events this month, like the coffee and car cruise, without them). It's always a stellar experience to visit Reginald's, and I implore everyone to come by and check out this lovely shop - you won't be disappointed. Thank you for always brightening my...
Read moreOh, you haven't been here yet? Well stop what you're doing right now and get yourself over to Reginald's for a delicious cup of coffee, to meet kindest barista team, and to relax in the best coffee shop cafe atmosphere in the South Hills. This is one of those wonderful coffee shops that feels inviting and charming inside. It doesn't feel like a fast food venue (Dunkin) or a cookie-cutter retail space (Starbucks). This is a place you'll want to spend time savoring your beverage and a pastry before you go. Chat with the friendly staff. Branch out from their superb classics (americano, espresso, cortado, etc) and try some of their lattes made with top notch, fresh ingredients. This ain't the artificial syrup you'll get at Sbux or Dunkin. This is the real deal. Real vanilla, honey, chai, etc. All made fresh in-house. Just like their coffee beans which they roast on-site. You can even watch them do it. They bring in an array of delicious pastries and baked goods from the best bakeries in the area. There are tables and free wifi. Indoor and outdoor seating. I lived in NYC for 15 years and love me a good coffee shop cafe. This rivals my favorites from Manhattan. Best new thing to come to Bethel Park since I-don't-know-when. Truly a crown jewel in a town otherwise dominated by...
Read moreReggie's is a quaint neighborhood coffee shop. The coffee is high quality (the beans are roasted on site!), the specialty drinks are unique and tasty, the point of sale items will tempt you!
Every experience I've had here over the last 5ish years has been positive.... Mostly, I'm upset this place hasn't been here longer.
Recently I tried the famous Oram's donuts (available Friday and Saturday until they run out), and they do not disappoint. Selfishly, I wish there were hot breakfast items so it was more of a one stop; however I am fully supportive of doing what you do best and not trying to do everything.
The cafe itself is small with two tables, with additional seating in the hallway. When the weather is nice you can enjoy your treats outside in an Adirondack chair on the grass.
The shop is located in an old school building that has since been renovated — it's a cool use of revitalized space. Conveniently located in the heart of Bethel, near other amenities (community center, playground, athletic field/track, and brand new splash pad).
Parking is easily accessible from a side street so it's easy to get in and out.
Oh yeah, and you should follow them on socials if you want to be entertained. You...
