I would be honest, I visited here based on all the reviews that say the service was not good and they got yelled at. I was feeling adventurous and wanted to see how out of pocket the service would be. I was feeling a little down and just wanted to be distracted. Based on what I read and what my friends who visited before told me, the food is good but the service is weird.
I came on a cold windy day and the food. The food was so good. It was warm family Italian food. The creamy steamy hot pasta cured me that day. Just what I needed. The garlic knots were so fresh and garlicky. The satisfaction I was craving for, along with the pizza dough pounding sound from the kitchen, very cozy.
I pictured the scene from the Disney movie Luca. The pasta is homemade, warm, and simple. I think this is exactly what pasta should be. Simple but soothing. So glad there’s a restaurant like this around here. A perfect place when you’re feeling down, stressed for the finals, or just hungry for a good pasta.
And the service was actually great. Only me and another customer. Quiet and...

My girlfriend and I have gone for dinner several times now, it is veery affordable for what your given. Granted I have not ordered any seafood, the chicken and veal dishes no matter how they come are spectacular.
The real selling point (afterall it's a pizza joint) we just recently for the first time ordered pizza to be delivered, white witbroccoli, I have to say. HANDS DOWN LITERALLY, THE. BEST. PIZZA. ON. SOUTH. SIDE.
outside of how deliciously flavorful the pizza was, it was importantly and undeniably CRISPY and I mean we ordered it delivery through door dash or whatever, idk maybe jib jab or hubbub or whatever, but seriously that is notoriously difficult to accomplish with pizza the comes hot out the oven and gets put straight into a box. Beleive me I would know, having been a pizziola myself for years, but I recede.
All in all if you find yourself considering where to order from, I promise you need look no further. Wether your chicken or veal, piccatta, marsala, florentine, Meat sauce and spaghettelli.

Read moreThe pizza was great and the waitress Jess was fantastic. Unfortunately Anna was not friendly nor had any customer service skills. She was brutal when putting the plates on the table and did not have any manners what so ever. She reached over whild we were eating appetizers to put the pizza on the table without saying excuse me. Worst of all when we asked to take home the leftover pizza she dropped the box with the pizza in it and did not even apologize. Her energy was really bad. The what she called sangria looked like koolaid in an a plastic bin. She coughed several times without covering her mouth. She needs serious medical attention. The menus were sticky and filthy. She's a pig. My family and I did not feel comfortable there and we will not be returning. This place will not be successful with her on the front end she should stay in the back and away from customers and let her staff do there jobs which they were doing well. She can take pointers from them. One last thing this is not BRICK OVEN pizza. It's an oven with fake bricks...
