Early April 2016: I have ordered from Big Woody's Bethlehem twice. Both times the experience has been unexpectedly ridiculous. The first time I ordered two meals. I was told 20 minutes. I went to pick up 30 minutes later only to be told 1 of my orders was never placed. Therefore, instead of picking up my food, I needed to wait for the order to be made. I alerted the manager of the mishap which resulted in nearly an hour lapse from order time. I was offered no compensation until I asked. Even then I was given $2 off.
Late April 2016: I ordered a pizza and side at 7:20pm. I was told to pick up in 30 minutes. When arrived for pick up, was again told the order wasn't ready. In fact, the pizza was just going into the oven. Returned to car for another 20 min. Called in during the wait to speak with a manager and was told they installed a new POS system that contributed to delay and they were just "really busy." I stated I understood it was Friday night, but it was now 8:45pm for a pizza ordered placed at 7:20pm. Instead of providing a genuine apology and doing what well-trained managers typically do and offer some type of remedy, this female manager wanted to debate about how the 15 minutes the pizza was ready before returning for the second pick up. So let's review, I placed an order at 7:20. 1st pick up at 8:10. Told just now going into oven. Called for manager at 8:45 and only at the end of that conversation told that the pizza was "now ready. By then it was 8:54pm. Ultimately, the manager forgot all about the fact that the pizza was never even in the oven for the first pick-up and made it my issue for not returning quicker. I'm sorry, was I given a food beeper??? No sincere apology and no compensation for a Friday night pizza order GONE TERRIBLY WRONG! Read moreWorst service ever experienced dining at an establishment. Lived in Bethlehem 10+ years and I am always disappointed in the lack of customer service. The waiter took our order, didn’t write anything down, and once asked if he would remember this correctly due to it being a big order he stated he had it under control. The nacho appetizer came back incorrect with ingredients that we asked to be taken off due to allergies. We notified our waiter and all he said was he can ask management to make a new one, but by that time our main food came out. Food was cold and tasteless. Our other appetizer of wings came AFTER we ate and as we ask for our check. I asked for the wings to be taken off the order due to the fact we got them AFTER the course of our time there. The waiter said he would get management and that made NO difference. He ARGUED back and said why didn’t I mention it in the beginning of service we no longer wanted them. I told him that because of the food taking so long we forgot the waiter even placed the order. I said if he can’t take the wings off can you please take off the nachos that were placed incorrectly. He said due to us moving the chips around on the plate to show the WRONG ingredients, he was unable to assist. NEVER going back to this location. They had workers drinking, singing karaoke during our stay as well....
Read moreI want to start by saying that this review is solely towards the Manager, Justin. Our server was amazing and was the only reason we stayed. We ordered a tower of Miller Lite and when we got it, the beer tasted flat. We stopped drinking it and told pur server that it did not taste good. She said she would take it back and get us a different tower. I mentioned that I wasn't sure if the keg was just refilled or if it was the end of it. She kindly took the tower. While we were waiting for a new one, the manager, Justin, came over and stated, that they just changed the keg about 30 minutes ago and they were "dishing them out" at the bar with no complaints in those 30 mins and then said "if you guys are going to continue drinking, I suggest you drink something else." I said we would take Coors instead, and he said that he would not give us a refund on the Coors if we didn't like it. We were so confused because we never asked for a refund and we didn't even drink the Miller that we received for him to assume we were complaining just to get a refund.
