Very poor professionalism and bad attitudes. I put an order in for a shorti roll with extra veggie cream cheese. However I always request and require for the gloves to be changed because of allergies and I don't eat pork and they touch everything with the gloves on. The gloves is not to protect their hands as to protect us from their hands and contaminating our food. There's multiple cross-contamination because they don't consider the customers. I try to catch them as they was tag team and sandwiches trying to get the food out fast during the early a.m. shift. Unfortunately I was not able to catch them in time before he made my sandwich. Needless to say when I did let him know I needed him to change his clothes he slam down a sandwich through his gloves off and slam them into the garbage can and walk with a add two to the back to change his gloves. I immediately cancel my order requested the supervisor. Sad to report that he was the supervisor I will not come back to this facility again. When I informed him at the register he said it would have been nice for me to tell him in advance. And I told me they were moving way too fast and I couldn't keep up with what they...
Read moreLike all Wawas the food, service and prices are all superb, but this one has a little something extra about it that I don't quite understand.
Most places you go you'll be lucky if someone holds the door open for you. At this Wawa you can count on the door being held open for you every time! I don't know if its just the timing of people coming in and out, the design of the entrance or if the customers truly are friendlier than average, but I'll be darned if I don't find myself awkwardly mouthing "thank you" to the smiling man or woman welcoming me in.
And in the rare chance I do get to open the door myself, I find myself holding the door open for someone else. Like we're all paying a simple good deed forward in an endless chain of kindness, warmth and peace to our neighbors.
So it may not be fair to factor this sort of phenomenon in to my review, but the reassurance that the world is full of kind folks does make my breakfast chicken burrito with guac and a hash brown taste much better...so I say this is the best Wawa...
Read moreThe GM in the store don't know how to trick his female workers. I see alot of different faces all the time and one of the workers told me that they quit. Since no one wants to deal nor work with the GM or AGM. The store is always a mess, the women's bathroom is gross, workers look like they can't be bothered. There are a few good workers but most talk about killing themselves. That store needs help. I mean mentally. There is a lot of negative workers in the evening. Long lines at the register and no one helps. They workers are either standing there talking or it's empty. A few even said that's normal for them and that's sad from them to save that. A few customers had to scream for help for the worker. The whole store needs help or nothing is going to change. They need to start with the GM because it looks like he doesn't care for the store or...
