McDonald's — Restaurant in Bethlehem

I can 100% see why this place has such low ratings. I have been at this location a few times and every single time the staff is extremely rude. I guess that’s what I get for giving them chance after chance. Tonight when I pulled up to the drive-through to have my order taken I sat for two minutes waiting for the woman to take my order. When I got to the first window I was greeted with “ what was your order”? And then I wasn’t given a receipt after asking for it because the girl was having “issues” with the receipt paper. When I got to the second window I was left waiting while my food was sitting in front of the window getting cold. When the employee realized I was sitting there and decided to stop chatting it up with the other employee, I was greeted with “ what was your order?” A second time. I told her my order and then I asked for a copy of my receipt because I wasn’t given one at the first window. The employee named Jennifer at the second window decided to roll her eyes give me a dirty look and turn around to tell someone that she needed my receipt to give to me. Once I got my receipt as I was driving away Jennifer decided that the best professional way to watch a car leave the drive-through is by giving them the dirtiest look she possibly could. On top of all of that my food is extremely cold in fact The meat on the Mc double didn’t even melt the cheese that’s how cold it is. I find it extremely unprofessional to ask the customer what their order was, if this place was at all organized they would have the correct order going to the correct car. And from my understanding from working at McDonald’s years ago you don’t delete the order on the screen until it’s handed out. My goodness it just pains me to see a company that has thrived many years serving the public and making a lot of money going down down down! I went into the restaurant and order a very simple meal even though the prices have skyrocketed to disappoint! My order was a Big Mac and Small fries, simple right? While I waited for my order another customer walked in with two bags and said she was not given two sandwiches. I should have taken that as a sign and asked for my money back but I didn’t! The manager offered the customer a free hot pie that she declined. I get home for lunch and I take a bite to notice that it tasted a little bitter so I opened the sandwich and discovered that the sandwich had only one burger in it! I was so upset that I had to drive back which is a 15 minute drive. I spoke with the manager and showed her the sandwich. I told her this is incompetence while I mentioned that I noticed the previous transaction as well. She agreed and said she would speak to the person like it was going’s to make a difference! I told her I want my money back! She gave me my money back and then offered me a pie as well. I told her that her employees must not like her because if they did there would not be so much incompetence in the service there! If you are reading this, when you go into this establishment look at the joy of the employees. You will not see any service with a SMILE! Now as for the bitter taste I mentioned I believe it was a cross between old left out of temperature special sauce and old lettuce! I can’t tell you to stop going there, all I can say...

What can I say... It's McDonald's... You know exactly what to expect when you go to Micky D's and that's why you are there. So you know what the food is like, this particular location is always scurrying around as fast as a hive of bees during busy times, and they don't slow down that I can tell no matter what time of day or night it is! The service is always courteous, and often downright friendly at every time of day or night, and the service is faster here than any other McD chain in the area plus, friendlier, courteous service. Rarely , maybe 3 times in the last 25 or so years I've lived here , have they ever made a mistake on an order. I didn't give them the five stars only because I didn't like the new chicken sandwich, it's bland and tasteless and dry. At least mine was. But that might not be their fault. Maybe it's supposed to taste that way. Keep up the good work McD's!! And just for the record, I am giving an honest critique here, I am not paid or compensated in any way by McD corporation, the people at this particular store, or any other entity to be favourable in my review.
