First let me explain that I actually do really enjoy Moes. The food is very good. The reason I'm rating this a 2 is for the Schoenersville Rd location only.
Yesterday afternoon a friend and I went there for dinner and everyone working there seemed so DEPRESSED!! They weren't helpful at all, they forgot things, didn't bother asking if our order was together or not just assumed it was and put it on the same bill. I was seriously considering asking the one kid if he needed a hug or something. Also they barely put anything on our wraps... like the smallest amount possible. If I'm paying 10 dollars for a quesadilla, you can give me more than a tablespoon of chicken.
I get it, you don't like your job you would probably much rather be hanging out with friends on a saturday evening ... but that's no reason to give poor customer service. My friend and I tried to be as nice as possible, TRIED to make them smile. We left seriously feeling depressed. Like maybe we should watch a sad movie to make us feel better, and they all moved in what seemed like slow motion, it was no wonder the line was nearly out the door...
So for Moes, I would highly suggest going out of the way (if it is out of the way for you) and go to the one on Tilghman St in Allentown. The folks there are MUCH nicer, you actually get good serving sizes and it's just a better...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePrices are one to two dollars less at the Easton location and the Easton location doesn't charge 1.50 extra for white meat chicken either. The quality and service is also worse here and the staff are surly and miserable. The kind of people you would expect would spit in your food just because you had the audacity to order it. I've ordered from this place three times and every order I've made has had a mistake. Twice they forgot to put in salsa, once they gave me the wrong chicken even though I paid more for white meat chicken, and then one time we ordered two burritos and they said oh, the one with the black dot has guacamole....but that was wrong my friend and I ended up eating each other's burrito...so neither of us got what we wanted. Also the way they put the ingredients in is stupid. Its like they create pockets of ingredients instead of dispersing them evenly. Who wants all their guacamole shoved to one side of their burrito?
Honestly, it's almost like they are intentionally messing up so they don't have repeat customers. 've stopped ordering from here and just go to the one in Easton instead...even though it's about...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOut of all the Moeās Iāve been to, this one is the worst for a few particular reasons:
-My order was placed in app, over an hour in advance. I arrived a few minutes early, and still had to wait 20 minutes for them to make my order. -The place was a mess. Spilled food all over the kitchen, the employees were running around all disorganized, the food looked dry and flaky and desperately needed to be swapped out for fresh stuff. I wonāt lie, I kind of wanted to cancel my order after seeing the place but it was too late. -While I waited for my order, they turned away multiple other customers because they were only doing āonline orders onlyā and refused to take any walk in orders. Thatās extremely rude, and no way to treat customers. -When I finally got home to enjoy my meal with my wife, she was totally turned off because the chicken tasted odd. I thought it tasted slightly off, but not too bad and ate it anyway. Now Iām really regretting that decision as Iāve been throwing up constantly for the last 30 minutes. I shouldāve listened to the wife. I refuse to come to this...
