Paranormal Pizza — Restaurant in Bethlehem

I'm sorry to ruin the 5.0 review but as a vegan pizza coinessuer I have to be honest. The seitan, I will say, was a solid 8.5/10. The wings in particular were wonderful, but I found the pepperoni bland. The texture is there but not the flavor. What ruined this pizza for me was honestly the cheese. The texture/flavor isn't there and I feel I could have made something of similar quality in my own kitchen. The crust was good, especially with garlic knots but overall the entire meal did give my friend and myself stomachaches. The sauce was fine, average. I wouldn't recommend this pizza to non vegans, but I would recommend the wings. I drove an hour and a half to try this pizza and the dining room was closed a half an hour before the restaurant closed, which was also disappointing because we had called early in the day to make sure we made it. Reworking the cheese or switching to premade vegan cheese would greatly improve this pizza. Overall it also lacked salt and herbs throughout pizzas (alien bounty hunter and pepperoni). Bland, needs improvement.

Edit to add (after reply from the owner) my sister and I called twice. I called in the early afternoon to confirm your hours then my sister called at 630pm to place our order. We live in Harrisburg and drove over an hour and a half specifically to try this pizza, and we had no way of seeing the window before we got there. Over the phone we were initially told to place an order by 7 because the store closed at 7:30. So we called again to place our order and were told about the dining room being closed after we had driven an hour to try this pizza. Good...

I am the only vegan in my family. A lot of times, the food I order when I go out is not something that my family members want to try. I visited Paranormal Pizza and fell in love! I could, given enough time and empty stomach space, finish one pie without any help. It’s that good! When I brought some leftovers home from this place, someone found them in the fridge and got to them before I did. They had no idea it was vegan, and were shocked to find out that something that was vegan could taste that awesome! Now that I put my family onto this place, I have to share every pie I order, which means I usually order two! One for me, and one for them😂 The staff here is lovely. Super welcoming and friendly! I can tell they really put a lot of love into the food they make for the community! I love the fun flavor combinations for the pizzas and I’m eager to try the wings next time I stop in. This was my first time having vegan pizza and it was delicious! Definitely prefer it over regular pizza. I had “The Mulder” pizza, “The Smoking Man” pizza and the parm/garlic seitan wings. OMG I loved it all! I started my whole food plant based experience about 4 months ago, though it’s been hard to completely cut out dairy 100% I do try and do not eat it as often. I was a cheese lover!! So I am so happy to have seen on Facebook about this establishment and then to find out they were opening their pizzeria in Bethlehem. Not only are their pizzas great, but the staff are great too and friendly. I have to give a special shout out to Marc! I had an issue with one of my orders and I messaged Marc regarding it.
