Sweet Revenge — Restaurant in Bethlehem

I am going to make a really harsh and really critical review here; they claimed to be a New Orleans pastry shop or whatever they're claiming to be, these are the farthest thing I've ever seen for a beignet in my entire life, they're basically a puff pastry pretending to be a classic beignet.

I have had fresh Beignets from Cafe Du Monde multiple times in my life and these are the furthest thing from them, it's like saying both s* and chocolate are both Brown so they taste the same, I will not come back to this place.

I also had the displeasure of trying their cinnamon roll it was rather lackluster I was hoping for something other than a very Bland and just dry experience, I know not everyone can be a Cinnabon but this was worse than something that I could have made it home, or that I could have picked up at the grocery store, it was so poorly constructed that I could have eaten with my hands and not even made a mess that's how little icing there was on top and how little icing and filling and gooeyness was inside the cinnamon roll leaving so much to be desired.

While they had a decent cannoli the cream wasn't broken and the shell was rather crisp, I believe all of their Confections are store-bought and none of it is made in house based on what I could see in their kitchen.

I mean if you're stuck at the casino and you need something sweet maybe this is the place to go for you, but there are many other small shops in town especially in Easton that actually make their Confections in house and you would be much better served getting your Confections there where they're actually selling what...

It's a nice little spot. They don't have a huge selection of stuff. We had gotten a small/regular size vanilla milkshake and a large chocolate milkshake. Neither tasted bad. There is another ice cream joint in town that I think takes the top spot but this is easily right there next to it. They do have more than just sweets but not having tried it, I can't comment. I have been going to sweet revenge for the past two weeks and all I can say are wonderful things. Bri is always friendly and meets me with a smile as well as very personable. I’ve tried multiple things and have not been disappointed. The ice cream selections is great and the pastries are delicious.
