Last night I visited the Wendy's on Stefko Blvd in Bethlehem, PA. After waiting 17 minutes to reach the ordering kiosk, I was asked to wait a few moments to place my order. I waited at least 5 minutes as cars in line were abandoning the line, I waited. As the cars in front of me got their order and departed, there was no one between me and the pay window. I called out to the speaker by saying, "Hello". An angry person came on and said I told you to wait a few moments-we're changing the cash register. There was obviously a problem as that voice turned out to be the manager-Cindy. I said you asked me to wait a few moments more than 5 minutes ago. She barked at me to wait again, and I did.........
When I got to the pay window, I paid and requested the clerk write the managers name on the receipt. He left and the manager (Cindy) appeared-asking what she could do to make it right. I respectfully responded there was nothing sh could do. I told her I wanted her name and employee number. She made me and the long line of people behind me wait another 5 minutes and gave me a hand written piece of paper stating they were changing the register and she offered me a free meal (WHICH SHE DID NOT), and signed it, "Cin". I was changing the draw it said-OMG bad English-LOL! I asked for my receipt and she refused, telling me the wait was long because she already contacted her District Manager by phone and left a message that I refused a free meal and the register change caused the 20 minute delay.
I was calm and stayed calm, but told her I was not offered a free meal and did not refuse a free meal. She was very rude the entire time despite my calm demeanor. With the hand written not in hand I proceeded to pick up my burger at the next window and said have a nice day. That is when Cin exploded and started yelling at me saying to have a terrible day, calling me names as I pulled up to the pick up window. All because she could not bribe me NOT to contact her District Manager. I CANNOT find out who that is because the name of the District Manager must be TOP SECRET!
I have rarely seen a display of rudeness, and obnoxious behavior from a manager. Her employees all teamed around to hear what transpired and seemed embarrassed & amused by the incident.
Corporate retraining is required as well as an education in Customer Service for Cin. She refused to give me my receipt, employee number, or her name as well. Wendy's is promoting or hiring the bottom of the barrel for it's management staff-this is not...
Read moreMy friends and I decided to stop at this wendys to grab something quick little did we know there was nothing fast about getting our orders at all considering the staff working the sandwich line were just standing around talking and even one of their own staff members was getting upset with how they were working! There comments were rude between the coworkers and the nice young lady working the cashier had to take the lash of waiting for sandwiches and apologized multiple times over and over again I felt bad for her to even have to be working with the people she works with! After getting my food finally I took a bite into my chicken sandwich and it was so hot that it burned the roof of my mouth to where I couldnt even enjoy the food I paid for. I understand we all want hot food but I truly feel as though if the staff in the back were not chatting away as if they weren't working and getting caught up in not doing their job food would have been prepped to go for all the orders and they wouldnt have to cook last minute having a huge wait for customers inside and you dont even want to know how long the line was for the drive through was. When my boyfriend went up to order something else he was waiting up at the counter for some time with one of the managers just looking at him from the office and finally after 5 minutes or so he came over to take his order. It truly felt as though no one knew what their job was at all or what they were doing! Other then the cashier at the time no one was doing their job at all and the women who was upset with her staff was actually doing her job even when clearly it was time to leave; her ride was waiting for her. I decided to go to the bathroom was well it looked clean but no paper towels at all there was actually napkins next to the sink as if that is what we are suppose to be using to dry our hands! I for sure will never be visiting this Wendy's ever again and will not be recommending this location to anyone! I'd rather go to the...
Read moreI don’t usually post reviews on anything as I just don’t care that much especially when it comes to fast food but this is by far the WORST Wendy’s I’ve ever been to. If and when I get Wendy’s I usually got to the one on wood ave in Easton and they’re always great and pleasant and give me plenty of napkins and sauces and it’s always a good experience. Here however I had a late night basketball workout over in the area and was very starving after wards so I figured I’d get some Wendy’s I place a small order on the app and expected to be in and out. No joke there was 3 cars in front of me and it took me 20+ minutes to get my food at 11:30 at night. I don’t know if this is an understaffing issue or the workers r just lazy but the service was stupidly slow once I got to the ordering station I was on hold for at least 5 minutes alone. Then once I finally got to the window I was met with a very unpleasant, and what seemed to be a very overworked employee. Again this is one of the very rare times I’ve ever complained abt fast food ik it’s not supposed to be perfect but this was simply just terrible and I would suggest any other Wendy’s in the area before this one every day of the week and twice on Sunday. The chewy on top is they did indeed forget my sauce but that happens what doesn’t happen is waiting 20+ for fast food when there’s only 3 cars...
