As the self-appointed Italian food reviewer of the North Shore, Rossetti’s at 142 Brimbal Ave, Beverly, MA, is a must-visit! 🌟🇮🇹
Cocktails: Started with a bang! 🍹 The “Perfect Pear” is a must-try for sweet drink lovers, featuring pear vodka, pear liqueur, reduced pear nectar, and lemon. My mom loved the “Monkey Business,” a unique blend of banana-infused rum, amaro, fig cordial, and a special house blend of bitters. 🍌🥂
🥘 Appetizers kicked off with the Port Wine Braised Veal Arancini, served over Madeira demi with aged Parmigiano Reggiano—a sensational dish that elevates arancini to new heights with its rich flavors, scoring a perfect 10/10. 🧀🌟 The octopus dish with tomato and herb broth, chorizo, and clams was delicious, though the potatoes could have used a bit more cooking, earning an 8/10. 🐙🍲
Entrees: The Ricotta Gnocchi with its creamy buffalo mozzarella and luscious sauce was a crowd-pleaser at 9/10. 🍝 The signature Pasta Alla Genovese had perfectly cooked meat, though the pasta was a touch too al dente for me, also a 9/10. 🐄
Main Dishes: The 14oz Grilled Bone-In Pork Chop was juicy and flavorful, enhanced by the tangy vinegar peppers, scoring another 9/10. 🐖 The Branzino Puttanesca was superbly seasoned, well worth its price, and a generous portion for $46, making it a worthwhile splurge. 🐟 🐟 The Branzino “Puttanesca” was packed with flavor from stewed tomatoes, olives, and chili flakes, beautifully complemented by honey roasted broccolini, well worth the over $40 price at a stellar 9/10. 🐟🌶️
Dessert: Ended on a high note with Warm Ricotta “Zeppole” (Italian donuts) that were soft, doughy, and simply divine, especially with the unique hint of orange—9/10. 🍩 The Fruity Pebbles Milk Punch cocktail was dangerously good, tasting just like fruity water! 🥛🎉
🍹 The most unique dessert drink, the Fruity Pebbles Milk Punch, was dangerously delicious, tasting just like the cereal-infused water!
📊 Overall, if you’re an Italian food enthusiast on the North Shore, Rossetti’s is worth exploring for its creative cocktails, exceptional arancini, and rich pasta dishes.

Read moreI was excited to be able to get a late-breaking reservation on a Friday night to celebrate my birthday! We were warmly greeted at the reception stand with a smile and promptly seated to a special corner table adjacent to the fireplace. Although I requested this table sharing it was our favorite, it was so nice to see that a request is not only read, it's honored when possible - thank you!
Our server was Rachel, who was fantastic! Rachel was very friendly, knowledgeable and went out of her way to ensure we were having a great time and enjoyed our dinner and night together, always makes a positive difference...and I find the entire staff to go out of their way for their customers! I was there the night before having a drink at the bar and our mixologist has been there since the opening. To me this is a clear indication of their leadership who is always present and also wants to ensure your dinner and evening is the best it could be!
Speaking of dinner, ours was excellent! We started with the arugula salad and loved that we asked it to be a mix of romaine and arugula - was perfect! We enjoyed both of our entrees, my husband chose the Chicken Braciolettini, stuffed chicken breasts with prosciutto which was very flavorful and I got Chicken Piccata with gnocchi, their gnocchi are really the best!
We were in a hurry to get home, taking care of our son's dog when Rachel offered us a birthday dessert. We thanked her and shared we could not stay and she kindly offered she would pack our cannoli to go! BTW, it was delicious...the shell was so crunchy and the filling with pistachio ends was excellent.
The dessert was a true surprise, especially today where people are cutting back, the offering of a dessert for a special occasion when it's not expected was so nice and speaks highly of the entire Rosetti operation. Thank you for a wonderful dining experience and we will see you again...
Read moreUnfortunately I did not have a good experience at Rossetti in Beverly.
My husband and I dined here on Valentines day. We received a $100 gift card as a xmas gift from a friend, and decided that it would be a nice place to go for a Valentines day date.
We ordered our food, ate our meal and then it was time to pay. We placed our gift card down on the table and waited for our server to come back.
Instead of the server coming back, the owner of the restaurant came over to our table. He explained to us that although there are two Rosetti locations (one in Beverly, one in Lynn) he does not currently accept gift cards. He went on to tell my husband and I, that his father owns the restaurant in Lynn and he owns the Beverly location and he is "not yet profitable" therefore cannot take a gift card. And of course he ended the conversation with "most importantly, did you like your meal?"
In my opinion, as a business owner myself, I probably would've took the giftcard, compensated the meal however I saw fit and privately discussed the giftcard with my father later maybe explain to HIM my financial situation and ask if he'll buy the giftcard back!
This owner was totally inappropriate coming to our table on Valentines day discussing profits and giftcards.
Of course we didnt argue and went along with it and used a different method of payment because having the owner come to our table caused a big enough scene as it was.
Unfortunately because of the owners actions I will never be returning to this restaurant again.
The giftcard had no indication that it could not be used in Beverly.
The restaurant had no notice on the door or menu or any verbal communication that they would not be accepting giftcards.
If you come to this restaurant and have any issues, do not expect them to take responsibility. You will be...
