Jersey Mike's Subs — Restaurant in Billings

Went during their VIP night soft-open where they were giving away free subs and drinks from 5p to 8p via some Facebook post announcements in order to test and prepare their staff. When I arrived at 6:40p, the line was through the redtaraunts and into the bathroom lobby area and out the door about 15 people. I got through the line and got my 2 sub orders and got a fountain soda and walked out at 7:01p. I've waited longer on a not-crazy night at the Shiloh Jersey mike's than I did for this super busy opening night. I like that they have 2 lines to order (you order in the middle and go either left or right to two different prep counters and registers) which speeds things up. Seating space is on-park with their other locations, I'd say slightly less seating than Heights but slightly more seating than Shiloh, but the bigger counter/ordering area makes things go way faster and I imagine will help with all of the online orders. The fountain drink station is only on one side and is right in front of the door which is a bit of an inconvenience and bottleneck when it's busy. A calm day it's likely less of an issue but a busy night I can see this still becoming a bit of a bottleneck with people blocking the door or taking time getting drinks and lids/etc. Sandwiches were made accurately and tasted great. Overall, the staff were extremely professional and fast and had great memories balancing tons of sandwiches and customizations at once. Great job! If it could be zero it would be. This location just opened and was excited about it. Should have left when I first walked in. One employee was sitting on her boyfriends lap in the seating area making out, another behind the counter was smacking her gum and blowing bubbles. Ordered my sandwich and had to tell the gal that just finished sucking her boyfriends face multiple times no onions. Plus the lettuce was mostly brown and looked all sorts of wrong and not fresh. Got my sandwich went and sat down and had a very long black hair wrapped around and thru my sandwich. No hair nets on anyone, a couple with very loose ponytails with all kinds loose hair. Horrible Horrible Horrible. I can understand a rare incident. But there are zero standards at this location. Will not be back, may go to the one on shiloh, but...

So pumped to have Jersey Mike's on Grand. Amazing experience! Their team is already rocking after 1 day. Friendly, fast and the Philly was 😋 delicious. Glad to have them near me. Great job folks!
