I have been there twice…still wasn’t impressed. Service was fairly good but both times, seafood was not quite worth the price or particularly appetizing.(Shrimp unpeeled last time and Whitefish was rubbery/some mussels had black string-like membrane still attached most recent visit.) Also $3 for a mini pot of tea is slightly pricey. Probably won’t be returning in the near future. Edit In Response to Owner’s Reply: FYI I have, in fact, been to various considerably more reasonable restaurants within Billings/elsewhere which serve better quality food(including seafood) and are considerate enough to not reply in such an ugly and unprofessional way to my honest review of their restaurant as a paying customer. True, I may not know what authentic Filipino cuisine is like but I have been to restaurants that have considerably better quality seafood. It may potentially benefit the owners of Mia’s Wok to, instead of responding nastily to my review, consider components within it to potentially improve upon so they can stay open and attract more business to their restaurant. Also, people who know me well can confirm that I am generally a happy person and don’t complain very much especially about food. But since you insist upon being so petty and rude I have reduced it to one star. Good luck in the future! I hope you are able to change yourself and your restaurant in a...
Read moreThe service at Mia’s is fantastic, Jude I believe, she is genuinely kind and hustled her butt off by herself for the lunch crowd.
What to expect: Mia’s Wok is casual dinging with possible wait times and is definitely not fast food… in a good way. Being Mia’s Wok is Down Town Billings, it does fit that hustle and bustle feeling of a down town location. It is close to several museums and historic sites and hikes of Billings, my favorite being Zimmerman Park for a scenic walk/hike.
About the food: The food was delicious, it took about as long as I’d expect for fresh food. I waited about 13 minutes. The Beef with beef meat ball Pho was something I am already planning on going back for. It was hot with fresh sprouts and their noodles are delicious and well made. I also asked for Pot Stickers which were delightfully crispy on the outside and extremely flavorful. I love Pho! This is now my Pho spot in Billings.
Edit: back again. 3-8-24. This place is consistently delicious! The service is consistently excellent.
My initial impression of Mia’s walk was “great energy”! I was also surprised and drawn in when Jude remembered me from my initial visit nearly 3 weeks prior.
Great location, amazing service and Mia’s Wok is deserving of anyone...
Read moreOrdered food from here last night for my wife's Birthday. We ordered 3 bowls of Pho soup and an order of Pad Thai. They charged her 79 dollars. 79!!!!! She got home and told me how she felt bad that she only had ten bucks for a tip and I asked her how much the bill was and I couldn't believe it. Their menu says the soup is ten bucks and the pad Thai thirteen. We also order four little glass bottles of soda with the little marble in them.(My kids fav). So conservatively the bill should have been fifty bucks maybe. My wife called today to talk to someone about the overcharge and the lady said that the prices have changed and there was nothing she could do. The prices are up on their website right now!!!! 80 bucks for 3 bowls of soup and some pad Thai? I'm a little shocked at the lack of customer service. They didnt even care that they charged us almost double! I never in a million years expected to be ripped off like this so blatantly. Never going back. I do not like thieves. Especially in this damn economy. Shame on you Mia's Wok. Happy...
