Taco Treat — Restaurant in Billings

I’ve enjoyed Taco Treat in Great Falls for the last 30 years, in Missoula and here in Billings. I’ve had many, many great meals here in Billings since moving here 3 years ago. On Saturday, 8/9, close to 5 we had the occasion to swing into Billings Taco Treat. The woman taking our order was kind and efficient. I’m not sure what was going on but apparently the kitchen was done cooking for the day because the corn tacos never hit the heat. If they did they were fried ahead of time to save time and the meat was barely warm. My husband ordered two and I had one along with a cheese crisp with beef. The cheese crisp meat was barely warm. This was so hugely disappointing because it’s ALWAYS been so good. I mean ALWAYS!!! Whoever was in the kitchen preparing food last night should either be re-trained or let go. He/she/they are going to run your business into the ground. And we will lose out on a Taco Treat...

I got told that taco treat would be a great place to try so I did and I will never be back. The staff was rude, they got my order wrong and it took a very long time for my order to be complete (no there wasn't a long line). When I went back in to have the order fixed the 'manager' had an attitude about fixing it. In addition to the costumer service being less than stellar the food was not good either (I ordered the nachos supreme with chicken). I got to work and after the first couple of bites I had to throw it away. I was not expecting an authentic Mexican restaurant experience, however a step up from Taco Bell would have been nice. They only reason it got two stars instead of one is because the green sauce was pretty tasty but...

This was hands down the worst food my wife and I have ever eaten. We love ourselves some fake cheese but this was terrible. I have never left a restaurant feeling sick before, but when we left Taco Treat we both felt like we had to throw up in order to feel better.

We go to Taco Bell quite often so we decided to try Taco Treat and I can honestly say we will never, ever go back. The employees are very nice and the restaurant was clean, but the food to us made us feel sick to our stomachs. The entire way home we tried to think of a time we had such terrible food and we couldn't.

I wouldn't recommend going here to anyone, I would rather try Taco John's then have Taco...
